(PDS) served as the Design Engineer and Construction Managers for <br />this project to provide sanitary sewer upgrades and building rehabilitation to the master lift station in the <br />City of Opa-Locka responsible for the collection of all sanitary sewer flows in the city and routing them to <br />the receiving County pump station view a 12” force main. Project included the structural building <br />renovations, building hardening, completely new electrical system and pump controls, telemetry, <br />replacement of the three main pumps and the design of a standby emergency diesel operated pump. <br />The PDS professional staff has also been tasked with the permitting through the City and the Miami- <br />Dade County Environmental Agency. Project included design calculations for the three permanent <br />pumps, as well as the stand by Diesel pump. <br /> <br /> <br />Premiere Design Solution’s role in the project is: <br /> <br /> Conduct Pre-Construction visits to identify field problems early on. <br /> Civil, Structural, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering design <br /> Lift Station Calculations and Pump Selection <br /> Obtain permits through the Cities and Miami-Dade County. <br /> Perform periodic field visits to check progress of construction. <br /> Prepare monthly payment requisition packages, including updated project schedule, progress <br />photographs, and related documentation as required for Federally Funded Projects. <br /> Liaison between Cities, County and Contractor on any aspect related to this project. <br /> <br />City of Opa-Locka <br />Master Lift Station 11C - Upgrades and Rehabilitation <br />Opa-Locka, Florida <br /> <br />149
