<br />Miami-Dade Transit Department, ARRA Municipalities Shelters Groups “A & C”, Miami-Dade County,
<br />Florida. The ARRA Municipalities Group “A & C” Transit Improvements projects consisted of two transit
<br />improvement projects at over 70 locations throughout Miami-Dade County, in the Cities of Homestead, Florida City,
<br />North Miami, North Miami Beach, Miami Lakes, Surfside, Bay Harbor Islands, Aventura, South Miami, Opa-Locka,
<br />and El Portal. Project is Federally Funded and coordinated by the Miami-Dade Transit Department, and follows all
<br />ARRA and Federal guidelines and regulations. Mr. Eckardt was the Construction Manager and Quality Control
<br />representative in the project, and assisted in obtaining all permitting approvals from municipalities and county
<br />agencies. Project included the ADA accessibility improvements to bus stop locations, new bus shelters and
<br />amenities, new sidewalk and reinforced concrete pads, and the relocation of existing bus shelters.

<br />FDOT District 4, Broward County Transit Bus Shelter Project, Broward County, Florida. This Design-Build
<br />project consists of providing ADA compliant bus shelters to 73 locations throughout the cities of Wilton Manors,
<br />Oakland Park and Pompano Beach, in Broward County. Mr. Eckardt was the project manager responsible for
<br />coordinating and generating civil, structural and electrical engineering designs for the bus shelters as well as
<br />improvements at bus stops locations such as landing pads, curb & gutter, sidewalk restoration, sidewalk transitions,
<br />and amenities. This project required the coordination between the design team consisting of civil engineers,
<br />structural engineers, electrical engineers, shelter manufacturer and a surveying team. To ensure the best possible
<br />product, this project closely followed a strict quality control procedure review prior to submittal and meeting with
<br />governmental agencies having jurisdiction over the project site location. Project included all permitting, including
<br />FDOT electronic reviews, and permit through municipalities & construction support services.

<br />Miami Executive Airport RIM Taxiway Modifications, Miami-Dade Aviation Department, FL – Mr. Eckardt was
<br />the project manager for this project to design modifications to the existing configuration of Taxiways “A” and “D” as
<br />they intersect and approach Runways 9L and 13 at the west terminus of the Airport. Mr. Eckardt also served as
<br />the construction manager for this project and was responsible for inspections and construction coordination of
<br />demolition work, new pavement, runway and taxiway lighting, pavement markings and signage, stormwater
<br />pollution prevention, construction phasing and staging, access route designation.

<br />Ravenswood Electric Buses Charging Station Implementation, Broward County Transit, Broward, Florida –
<br />This project required the topographic survey and underground utility coordination for the implementation of 12
<br />electric bus charging stations at the Ravenswood bus maintenance facility in Dania Beach. This is one of the main
<br />facilities in Broward County. Mr. Eckardt was the project manager on this project responsible to provide surveying
<br />services and conducted underground utility investigation including research of as-builts, and conducted and
<br />coordinated the designation and soft digs required to provide accurate data to the project architect about the civil
<br />engineering layout and design requirements.

<br />Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Utility Atlas Update and GIS Implementation Miami Springs, FL - Mr. Eckardt is
<br />the Project Manager for this Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department (WASD) project to provide support services
<br />for implementation of the Department’s GIS system for water and sewer infrastructure, with the priority of Miami
<br />Springs acquired utilities. The main objective of this project is to compile all As-Built Information related to all water
<br />and sewer assets of Miami Springs, an area of 1,900 Acres, and upload the information digitally into the WASD GIS
<br />System. Mr. Eckardt oversees six full time GIS Specialists working at WASD entering water and sewer utility
<br />information and provides monthly updates to WASD management staff. Project also includes field data collection
<br />and as-built plans research to collect all the required information necessary for the input of all water and sewer
<br />infrastructure of Miami Springs. Mr. Eckardt has been able to successfully execute this project and its completion is
<br />ahead of schedule.
<br />
<br />NW 138th Street Bridge Over Miami River Canal, Miami Dade Public Works, Miami, Florida - This project
<br />included the Master Planning, Topographic Survey, Engineering Design and Construction Administration for NW
<br />138th Street, between Okeechobee Road and NW 113th Avenue. This project widens a two-lane undivided roadway
<br />to a five-lane undivided roadway section in a highly industrial area. Mr. Eckardt was responsible for the design and
<br />coordination required for this project along NW 138th Street between Okeechobee Road and NW 113th Avenue. The
<br />design included roadway survey, design, street lighting, paving grading and drainage, traffic signal modifications,
<br />striping and a new bridge to replace the existing structure. Mr. Eckardt also provided permitting assistance to Miami-
<br />Dade County Public Works Department for this project. Several meetings with FDOT, MDPW, and property owners
<br />were required to coordinate the work required for this project.
