HENRY RIVERA <br /> Safety Engineering Inspector <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Sewer Service, RK Oil Inc (Shell Gas Station), Palmetto Bay, FL - Mr. Rivera assisted during the design and <br />field condition assessment phases on this project to design a new sewer system that will service the proposed <br />site, which was in septic tank. PDS also processed permit applications with Miami-Dade Water and Sewer <br />Department, Miami-Dade DERM and the City of Palmetto Bay. Mr. Rivera was tasked with Construction Inspection <br />Engineering services, and was responsible to ensure the construction was being performed in accordance with <br />the permit documents with safe construction practices. <br /> <br />New Hope Church, Town of Southwest Ranches, FL - Mr. Rivera was the Cad Manager and CAD Quality <br />Control Manager involved in the design, permitting and construction certification for a church and children’s day <br />care located along Dykes Road, north of Sheridan Street. The project consisted of lake and mitigation design for <br />stormwater run-off collection, as well as paving and drainage design and potable water and sanitary sewer design. <br />Project also included the drafting of topographic survey and generation of as-built survey drawings. <br /> <br />FDOT District 4, Broward County Transit Bus Shelter Project, Broward County, FL. This Design-Build project <br />consisted on providing ADA compliant bus shelters to 73 locations throughout the cities of Wilton Manors, Oakland <br />Park and Pompano Beach, in Broward County. Mr. Rivera was the CAD Manager on this project responsible for <br />setting up all drawings on this project, including topographic surveys and engineering drawings. This project <br />required the coordination between the design team consisting of civil engineers, structural engineers, electrical <br />engineers, shelter manufacturer and our surveying team. Mr. Rivera also assisted the field crew on this project by <br />helping in the field data collection operation to be able to meet the strict schedule requirements set by the Design- <br />Build Team. <br /> <br />Regions Bank, Weingarten Realty, Pembroke Pines, FL - As CAD Technician for this project, Mr. Rivera drafted <br />the water, sewer, drainage, cable and power infrastructure for the proposed 2-Acre site. Mr. Rivera assisted in the <br />processing of permits with the City of Pembroke Pines, South Broward Drainage District, South Florida Water <br />Management District, Broward County EPD Sewer, Health Department, FPL and ATT. Mr. Rivera also assisted <br />in the Construction Inspection Engineering Services part of the scope of work conducting field inspections, <br />preparing inspection reports and project close-out documentation. <br /> <br />Stop N Shop Plaza, Andes Construction Group, Miami Gardens, FL - This City of Miami Gardens project <br />included the renovation of the façade for the existing 30,000 S.F. building. Mr. Rivera assisted in the design of the <br />pedestrian sidewalks and concrete canopy eyebrow servicing the facility. ADA standards had to be met in order <br />to allow proper ingress/egress access into the facility. Mr. Rivera was responsible to produce all CAD drawings <br />as required by this project. <br />Safety Consultant Engineer - Led safety programs with the company’s contractors to assure compliance with the <br />safety standards and company policies in an attempt to minimize accidents within the work area. Through his <br />participation, Mr. Rivera helped the company prevent accidents on daily operations by enforcing safety codes and <br />regulations. <br />Mining Operations Senior Engineer - Mr. Rivera coordinated and trained operational teams across the company <br />on conducting operational risk analysis that affected safety, health and environment. Mr. Rivera also administered <br />safety programs for nearly 50 contractors to comply with safety standards and policies during the mining <br />operations. He also designed and implemented a computerized system to keep track as to when and how safety <br />deviations, detected in safety audits, were met in the various departments. Mr. Rivera Supervised quality computer <br />services for the mine operation. <br />Conducted technical and economical feasibility studies of projects (Transportation of water from the Mine to the <br />Port, optimization of processes at the water plant, among others). He also supervised the implementation of <br />several information systems for the mine operation. (Computerized Truck Dispatching System, Simulation model <br />for Coal quality tracking, Simulation model to assess the infrastructure capacity for the coal operation, among <br />others). <br /> <br />162
