Data Management <br /> <br />YEARS OF EXPEREINCE <br />14 Years <br /> <br /> <br />EXPERIENCE SUMMARY <br />Mr. McKoy is a professional Architect registered in the U.K. before relocation to <br />become resident in Florida with over 14 years of experience in Architectural / Civil <br />Engineering and Graphic design. Mr. McKoy is currently a Resident Project <br />Representative (RPR) or Construction Manager for Broward County Aviation <br />Department (BCAD) for various projects at the Fort Lauderdale International Airport. <br />Mr. Mckoy also served for five years as construction manager for Broward County <br />Transit (BCT) on various work assignments of their ADA improvement projects <br />County wide, consisting of Pre-fab and cast in place shelter / amenities installations <br />and accessible transit infrastructure design and construction. Mr. McKoy’s general <br />experience in the public sector includes design and management of projects <br />including schools, health centers, community youth facilities, office buildings, <br />libraries and various community based projects. All of which advanced his skills of <br />quickly and clearly taking projects from field analysis to design to construction and <br />completion repeatedly within project time schedules and budget. <br /> <br /> <br />RELEVANT EXPERIENCE <br /> <br />Architectural and Engineering (A/E) Services for the Transit Division, Broward <br />County Transit, Broward County, Florida - The A/E Services for the Transit <br />Division project consists of providing comprehensive professional A/E services on a <br />continuing term basis for the remodeling, renovation and new construction of transit <br />facilities in which construction costs do not exceed $2 million. Project includes <br />existing facility & site documentation, project budgeting, cost estimating, schedule <br />development and analysis, facility programming, complete A/E design of buildings, <br />on-site and off-site improvements, contract and bidding document development, <br />code analysis, permitting assistance and procurement, bid negotiation support, <br />construction contract administration services, inspections, surveying, computer- <br />aided and manually generated graphics support, preparation of narratives and other <br />textual project support, photographic and video-graphic project support, building <br />information modeling (BIM) project support, GIS project support and information <br />system project support. Mr. McKoy served as project engineer in this project <br />working at the Broward County Offices, helping execute multiple work orders. <br /> <br />CBIS/CBRA/BHS Program Civil Engineering at Miami International Airport, <br />Miami-Dade Aviation Department, FL - The South and Central Terminals Checked <br />Baggage Inspection Systems (CBIS) / Checked Baggage Reconciliation Areas <br />(CBRA) / Baggage Handling System (BHS) Program is a part of a $160-Million-dollar <br />program to centralize all baggage operations of these two terminals in a new modern <br />facility. The Engineering phase, estimated at $1.6 Million included a new 4 Stories- <br />70,000 SF building, and necessary modifications to the Central and South Terminals <br />to accommodate the new Baggage systems. Mr. Mckoy assisted in the Construction <br />Management for the civil component of the program. Tasks completed included the <br />design and inspection of new water and sewer services for the building, underground <br />utility coordination, concrete pavement design, pavement markings, signage, and <br />maintenance of traffic. Project also included necessary civil coordination for the <br />design and inspection of a temporary baggage make-up device requiring a 12” fire <br />line relocation, new monitoring wells, and cleanout relocation. <br /> <br />Fort Lauderdale Airport North Runway Rehabilitation Project, Broward County <br />Aviation Department (BCAD), Fort Lauderdale, FL – Mr. McKoy is the Project <br />Construction Manager for the concrete and asphalt pavement rehabilitation of the <br />North Runway at the Fort Lauderdale International Airport (FLL). Mr. McKoy <br />conducted daily inspections and recorded daily inspection reports with pictures, <br />recording quantities, tracking deliveries and ensuring adherence to contract <br />documents for the rehabilitation of the North Runway Asphalt Pavement project. <br /> <br />163
