JASON MCKOY <br /> Project Engineer <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Fort Lauderdale Airport East Pond Irrigation Main, Broward County Aviation Department (BCAD), Fort <br />Lauderdale, FL – Mr. McKoy was the Project Construction Manager for this project to install 4,000 LF of 16” <br />Water Main for irrigation system tied to the FLL Airport. Pipe Alignment runs along US-1 and requires heavy <br />Maintenance of Traffic and installations using open trench and trenchless installation methods. Mr. McKoy <br />conducted daily inspections and recorded daily inspection reports with pictures, recording quantities and <br />ensuring adherence to contract documents for the rehabilitation of the North Runway Asphalt Pavement. Mr. <br />Mckoy also conducted required pressure testing and assisted in project close-out and preparation of record <br />drawings. <br /> <br />Fort Lauderdale Airport Westside Water Main Expansion Loop, Broward County Aviation Department <br />(BCAD), Fort Lauderdale, FL – Mr. McKoy was the Project Construction Manager and resident project <br />representative (RPR) for this project to install 15,000 LF of 12” and 6” Water Main as part of their needed water <br />main loop. This transmission line runs along the west side of the FLL Airport requires heavy Maintenance of <br />Traffic and installations using open trench and night time installation methods. Mr. McKoy conducted daily <br />inspections and recorded daily inspection reports with pictures, recording quantities and ensuring adherence to <br />contract documents and coordinated work with BCAD various departments, and other contractors in the airport <br />area like the work at the Rehabilitation of the North Runway Pavement project. Mr. Mckoy also conducted <br />required pressure testing and assisted in project close-out and preparation of record drawings. <br /> <br />North Perry Airport Park and Ride Facility, Pembroke Pines, FL - Mr. McKoy served as the Project <br />Construction Manager for the development of a Park and Ride Facility at the North Perry Airport located on the <br />northeast corner of Pembroke Road and University Drive in the City of Pembroke Pines. The site development <br />included the design of the parking facility including a drainage and lighting system to serve riders of the Broward <br />County Transit System, and a reconfiguration of the parking lot. Mr. McKoy was responsible for the coordination <br />of permitting with the local governmental agencies and overseeing construction of this facility for Broward County <br />Transit and the City of Pembroke Pines. Project was fast track and required expedited completion to secure <br />federal funds. <br /> <br />Ravenswood Electric Buses Charging Station Implementation, Broward County Transit, Broward, FL – <br />This project required the topographic survey and underground utility coordination for the implementation of 12 <br />electric bus charging stations at the Ravenswood bus maintenance facility in Dania Beach. This is one of the <br />main facilities in Broward County. Mr. McKoy was the project field representative leading the field crews tasked <br />with demarcation and soft dig operations. Mr. McKoy also coordinated with survey crews to collect survey grade <br />locations of soft digs and ground elevations and was responsible for generating the underground utility <br />verification plan and field notes. <br /> <br />Broward County Transit–Consulting Services, Ft. Lauderdale, FL - Mr. McKoy rendered consulting services <br />to BCT on the following projects: <br />• Worked as part of an architectural team within the Broward County Transit offices, providing design and <br />management services for the new Transit Bus Shelter design and ADA improvement projects throughout <br />Broward County. Work duties Included field data collection, site visits, processing of work authorizations leading <br />to design packages and engineering drawings and specifications required to obtain permitting and approvals for <br />construction. <br />• Worked collaboratively with Broward County Transit, under the supervision of BCT Staff, Service and <br />Capital Planning department using his background and expertise in architectural design to produce construction <br />engineering drawings and management of Broward County in-house projects including 3D design proposals for <br />future civil infrastructure developments, including transit terminal developments and future roadway design <br />proposals. <br /> <br /> <br />164
