<br />Mauricio is a Senior Mechanical Engineer with over 15 years of experience
<br />in designing chiller plants, government buildings, commercial, and industrial
<br />buildings. His experience has provided him with the ability to provide high
<br />quality designs, while successfully completing very challenging projects.

<br />Laboratory Fume Hoods Replacement, Miami, FL
<br />Replacement of eight existing fume hoods with new Kewaunee Scientific
<br />fume hoods within four laboratories along with replacing the existing
<br />ductwork.
<br />U.S. Department of Homeland Security, United States Coast Guard, H
<br />Irma Station, Marathon, FL
<br />Engineering design services for the renovation of the Station Marathon
<br />for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, United States Coast
<br />Guard. The site is made up of several buildings, including a two-story
<br />administration building, single -story office and storage building, and a
<br />boathouse which is a single -story building that houses a repair shop, and
<br />storage. The scope of design consists of interior renovation, infrastructure
<br />enhancements, fuel farm replacement, exterior lighting replacement and
<br />complementary plumbing, as well as mechanical and electrical power work
<br />for all buildings on the campus.
<br />Indian River State College, Building "O" Chiller Plant Upgrades, Fort
<br />Pierce, FL
<br />The "O" Building Chiller Plant serves various buildings throughout the
<br />campus including the new 50,000 sf WorkForce Training Center. The
<br />mechanical scope includes replacing existing chiller number 2 and chiller 3;
<br />along with the associated cooling towers and primary and condenser water
<br />pumps with two new centrifugal chillers. Electrical scope includes replacing
<br />the breakers in Main Distribution Panels (MDP) 1 and 2 serving the chillers,
<br />cooling towers, and pumps.
<br />Indian River State College, Building Q, Engineering Upgrades, Fort
<br />Pierce, FL
<br />The 10,000 sf radio station building includes a new storefront glass and
<br />entryway with new lighting. Mechanical systems throughout the building
<br />were upgraded to remove the existing exterior chilled water make-up air
<br />unit and fan coil units. This provided two new 15 -ton chilled water indoor air
<br />handling units with all new supply and return ductwork, VAV terminal boxes
<br />with electric reheat and BAS controls.

<br />MEP/FP/T engineering and lighting design to support upgrades to the metro
<br />station to support the new retail development across the street from the
<br />Grove Central project that Vanderweil is currently working on.

<br />Survey of over 50 public schools (K-12) in the Miami area. Conducted and
<br />reported conditions of all mechanical equipment and systems.

<br />Design and preparation of mechanical construction plans for the remodeling
<br />of over 20 educational facilities. Included replacement of air handling units,
<br />chiller plants, air distribution, etc.
