<br />The Transit Infrastructure & Shelter Improvement at Bus Stops is a multi-year project consisting of improving transit facilities
<br />throughout Broward County. The scope of work for this project can be subdivided into ADA Improvements at Bus Stops, Bus
<br />Shelter Expansion Program, Bus Bay Enhancements and Transit Terminal Improvements. For these projects, Mr. Jurado has
<br />served as project director and Engineer of Record for most of the work provided under this contract including land surveying,
<br />conducted site condition assessments, engineering design, and permitting coordination for sidewalk repair and improvements
<br />projects at over 1,000 locations throughout Broward County, including ADA compliant pedestrian curb ramps, new bus shelter
<br />site design maintaining proper sight triangle, ADA Accessibility and pedestrian safety.

<br />Project included design services, permitting and construction management services for the improvement at 73 locations along
<br />FDOT right-of-way in Broward County, FL. This Design-Build Project included the enhancement of transit facilities, including
<br />ADA improvements, utility coordination, civil design, permitting and construction inspections. This project also included the
<br />design of custom made state of the art bus shelter facilities to replace exiting or be added at these locations. Mr. Jurado was
<br />responsible for presenting a work program to ensure completion within the expected Client’s schedule, project team
<br />coordination and rigorous quality control. The project total cost was $2.5 Million.

<br />As part of the comprehensive effort to address resident’s concerns, the City has embarked on a citywide Sidewalk
<br />Assessment Program. The work included a GIS inventory of all 420 miles of City-owned sidewalks and an interactive report
<br />with sidewalk deficiency, photo and GIS location, type, and length of damage. Mr. Jurado was responsible for the coordination
<br />of work, training and field data collection of filed survey activities, and assisted field crews in the collection of data and
<br />assessing the existing condition of miles of existing sidewalks and pedestrian curb ramps.

<br />Mr. Jurado was the Project Principal for this surveying project to conduct City-wide surveys on 200,000 LF of roadways as part
<br />of the CIP program to improve water and sewer infrastructure and provide additional stormwater management. This project
<br />has been performed with the latest GPS equipment and data collectors, coordinating field crews and office drafting work to
<br />meet the very demanding client schedule of completion. Surveys include ROW to ROW above ground features, drainage and
<br />wastewater structure information, delineation of plats and generating survey drawings. Mr. Jurado coordinated deliverables
<br />with client and conducted deliverable QA/QC reviews of project deliverables and coordinated comment resolution from client
<br />and owner.

<br />Mr. Jurado was the Project Coordinator for implementation of the Department’s GIS system for water and sewer infrastructure,
<br />with the priority of Miami Springs acquired utilities. To achieve this, Mr. Eckardt oversaw six GIS Specialists working at WASD
<br />entering water and sewer information into the WASD GIS System with GAMS and EAMS. Project also includes field data
<br />collection and as-built plans research to collect all the required information necessary for the input of all water and sewer
<br />infrastructure in Miami Springs.
