BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND RELEVANCE TO THIS CONTRACT (Include scope, size, and cost) <br />Premiere Design Solutions, Inc. (PDS) served as the Design Criteria Package Topographic Surveyor for the <br />City of Opa-Locka and their Capital Improvement Plan, to bring water, wastewater and stormwater improvements <br />throughout the City. Survey work included the collection of all above ground features, topographic elevation cross <br />sections, research and placement of monument, Right of Way, Easement and Center Lines, draft plats, and <br />generate layered assets in AutoCAD software to represent field data collected. <br />This project included the topographic route surveys for over 200,000 LF of roadway to receive water and sewer <br />improvements as part of the Capital Improvements Program (CIP) throughout the City of Opa-Locka, and requires <br />PDS to complete all surveys with a very aggressive schedule, in order to meet scheduled deadlines and limited <br />funding. PDS participation on this project nearly saved the City half the budget destined to surveying, while being <br />able to meet the aggressive schedule. PDS crews utilized state of the art, and the latest model of GPS rover and <br />Data Collectors available in the market, to deliver high quality data at production speeds.
