Firm References and Similar Work Completed <br />The Modern (aka 1515 Flagler Drive) <br />West Palm Beach, Florida <br />Peter served as Principal Geotechnical Engineer for the <br />subsurface exploration, geotechnical engineering analysis, <br />and report preparation for a new 30-story residential <br />tower located at 1515 Flagler Drive in West Palm Beach. <br />In addition, Peter managed a pre-implosion vibration <br />monitoring and visual assessment survey of surrounding <br />structures, as part of the implosion of the heavily hurricane <br />damaged 30-story building. <br />Lowe’s Home Improvement Centers <br />Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade, and Martin Counties, Florida <br />Peter served as Senior Engineer for the geotechnical and <br />environmental consulting services and for the construction <br />materials testing and inspection services performed <br />during planning, design and construction phases for <br />ten Lowe’s Home Improvement Centers constructed in <br />the South Florida area. Services included: subsurface <br />explorations; Phase I (ASTM 1527-05) and II Environmental <br />Site Assessments, monitoring of site work activities, soil <br />compaction testing, concrete sampling and compressive <br />strength testing, and welding inspection. <br />Palm Beach County Convention Center <br />West Palm Beach, Florida <br />Peter served as Project Manager/Engineer for the quality <br />assurance program for this new downtown convention <br />center. Quality assurance services included site preparation <br />activities such as filling and grading, retaining walls, and <br />construction quality control services such as threshold <br />inspection and construction materials testing for cast- <br />in-place concrete footings, slabs, beams, and columns, <br />and reinforced concrete masonry walls, and welded <br />connections. <br />Las Ventanas <br />Boynton Beach, Florida <br />Peter served as the Principal Construction Materials <br />Engineer/Manager for this new four, building, multi-family, <br />mixed-use project. A total of 494 units were constructed <br />within 2, 5-story towers, 7, townhouse buildings, along with <br />a parking garage and retail space. Materials testing services <br />included: vibroflotation monitoring; in-place density <br />testing; concrete testing for tunnel-form construction. In <br />addition, our services included providing Private Provider <br />Inspections (PPI) consisting of structural, mechanical, <br />electrical, and plumbing inspections for compliance to <br />construction documents. <br />Tuscany on the Intracoastal <br />Boynton Beach, Florida <br />Peter served as Principal Engineer for this six building <br />luxury apartment complex, which included site <br />development services for remediation of arsenic impacted <br />soils, auger-cast pile installation, vibroflotation monitoring. <br />Quality control services during construction activities <br />included threshold inspection and construction materials <br />testing for reinforced concrete masonry walls, post- <br />tensioned slabs and welded connections. <br />Wilton Station <br />Broward County, Florida <br />Peter served as Principal Geotechnical Engineer and Project <br />Manager for this mixed use development consisting of <br />5, 5-story residential building with a total of 272 units, a <br />retail building, and site amenities. Peter’s responsibilities <br />included foundation design consists of shallow foundations <br />supported on ground improved through the ground <br />improvement technique of vibroflotation, along with the <br />construction materials testing services consisting of soil, <br />concrete, and masonry testing.
