RESPONSE TO REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS FOR
Continuing Professional Consulting Engineering Services-Environmental Engineering
#BID 20-07-01

7
GBTS effectively staffs a varying number of projects at any given time. Staff requirements are estimated at the time of
the proposal or project planning stage. Management and technical personnel are scheduled by individual job task in
order to obtain detailed personnel loading requirements. Upon notice to proceed, key personnel are notified and
scheduled based upon specific project requirements. At the same time, support personnel are assigned appropriate
tasks. GBTS does not foresee any staffing issues and is committed to providing the following staff to meet the needs
of this contract.
FLORIDA MINORITY ENTERPRISE GOALS
GBTS have always held a philosophy and strong commitment to placing a fair proportion of subcontracting awards to
minority, small, women, and disadvantaged business enterprise firms (MBE/SBE/WBE/DBE), to participate in the
development and growth of such business enterprises. Not only are we an Equal Opportunity Employer, we also strive
to utilize the most highly qualified subconsultants for every assignment, and we outreach to such firms when a
subcontracting opportunity arises.
For this particular project scope of work we have included on our Team Ambient Technologies, Inc. (ATI) the parent
company of Geoview, Inc. which was founded in 1992 and is based in St. Petersburg, Florida with a secondary office
located in Boca Raton, Florida. GBTS has maintained a collaborative and dependable working relationship with
Geoview, Inc. for over 10 years. ATI and its subsidiaries are certified as a minority-owned business enterprise (MBE)
by the State of Florida, a disadvantaged business enterprise (DBE) by the Florida Department of Transportation
and a small disadvantaged business (SDB) by the U.S. Small Business Administration.
INSURANCE
Gallagher Bassett Technical Services currently has in-force a combined General Liability,
Contractors Pollution Liability and Professional Liability (E&O) Insurance policy. This policy
is written through insurance carrier(s) with “A” ratings by AM Best, Standard and Poors and
Moody’s. The policy provides coverage for all claims arising out of GBTS’s professional
services, both in its capacity as a professional consultant and as a construction manager of
demolition, remediation, abatement and environmental remediation projects, including,
but not limited to, asbestos, lead, mold, contaminated soils and groundwater, and the excavation, transportation and
disposal of hazardous materials. There are no exclusions for microbiological contamination or pandemics. GBTS has a
primary insurance policy with limits of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 in the policy aggregate. We also
have an umbrella policy providing an additional $25,000,000 per occurrence and an additional $25,000,000 in the
policy aggregate. This policy cover's GBTS for all work performed throughout the policy year. In addition to the GL,
Professional, Pollution, and Umbrella, GBTS also has in -force a $1,000,000 CSL Automobile policy and Worker’s
Compensation coverage with limits meeting statutory requirements in all 50 states. These policies are also provided
by a carrier with an A+ rating by AM Best. Specialty coverages such as Railroad Protective Liability, marine, etc. are
available. Project specific policies with dedicated limits are also readily available and can be acquired upon request.
