BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND RELEVANCE TO THIS CONTRACT (Include scope, size, and cost) TSF provided Geotechnical Engineering Services for the widening project of Bird Road Extension from SW 162nd Ave to SW 15th Avenue in Miami-Dade County. The roadway limits are approximately 3,100 lineal feet in length. The study was performed to obtain information on the existing subsurface conditions along the project alignment to assist in the design and preparation of construction plans for improvements. TSF’s geotechnical field study included SPT borings. Provided a geotechnical engineering report including geotechnical evaluations and recommendations regarding permanent cut and fill slopes, excavations, groundwater control, pavement design considerations, and on-site suitability. <br />The project was completed on time and within budget in 2019 25.
