<br />project closeout/start-up services for the decommissioning the lift station's existing dry pit and
<br />retrofitting the existing wet pit into a duplex submersible lift station with above ground valves and
<br />piping; including the installation of a retaining wall, relining existing structures, FOOT MOT, new
<br />water service line and backflow preventer, fencing, and upgrading the electrical equipment
<br />incl uding control panel and SCADA system.
<br />Pro/ect Challenges & Approach: This project consisted of a lift conversion from a wet pit/dry pit to
<br />a submersible type station within a limited easement area and low overhead powerlines.
<br />Therefore, the design was modified to include above-grade piping, valves and fittings and the re
<br />use of the existing wetwe/1.
