The project area is composed of primarily light industrial and warehouse properties. CAS will perform a drainage analysis to determine the feasibility of proposed site improvements for conf ormance with established drainage criteria. The drainage analysis will include pipe sizing analysis, flood routing design and will incorporate water quality treatment measures in the design in accordance with the City's Stormwater Master Plan. Design elements include drainage pipes, includes paving, grading, drainage and stormwater pump station improvements. Design fees for this project are $161,136. The project area is composed of primarily residential homes with some commerci al develo pment within the project limits. CAS was directed to evaluate options available for providing drainage improvements for the area with the goal of addressing flooding and water quality treatment to the greatest extent practical. The proposed alternatives will examine the feasibility of exfiltration trench, improved pipe conveyance and swale improvements where feasible. Proposed improvements will use existing city-owned outfall systems within the project area where feasible and evaluate upsizing these systems. Design fees for this project are $196,069. Services provided included engineering design of a 200 linear foot water main relocation, paving, grading and drainage improvements. Permitting, construction management and inspection services were also provided. Construction costs for the civil related improvements were $575,000.
