Services involved general project management such as attending meetings with City of South Miami and MDWASD <br />staff to establish project guidelines and requirements. Additionally, we gathered all available data by performing site visits, <br />reviewing available utility records, MDWASD sewer atlas, and as-build drawings. The preparation of the conceptual master <br />plan involved 12 subarea master plans, design conceptual layout plans, determined if pump stations and force mains were <br />needed, scheduled and attended meetings with the City to submit and review the Master Plan layouts plans and conceptual <br />designs. Water <br />and Sewer Master Planning for the overall 504 Acres contains the design of four City of Hialeah pump stations, approximately <br />37,500 linear feet of gravity sewer mains, 6,500 linear feet of sanitary sewer force mains and 30,175 linear feet of 12 -inch to <br />16-inch water main within the public right-of-way alone. Phase I of the overall development plan is approximately 160 Acres <br />and is a portion of a previously permitted construction and demolition material landfill site located within the City of Hial eah <br />annex. This project consists of the preparation of civil engineering design plans and specifications for the infrastr ucture <br />necessary for the construction of approximately 2.3 million square feet of Industrial buildings for Phase I alone. The Phase I <br />sewer pump station has sufficient capacity to service the 119,700 GPD peak flows generated by the Industrial Center. The w ater <br />facilities design for this project contains approximately 2,640 linear feet of 16-inch water main along NW 158th Street as well as <br />18,000 linear feet of 12-inch water main within the property that provides the Industrial business based development wit h <br />adequate fire protection and municipal water service.
