Among our most recent relevant transmission pipeline project design experience and as engineers for the City of Hialeah Water and Sewers Department, we have completed the design of several transmission water mains and sewage force mains pipelines to serve the new Annexation Area. These projects consist of the designed approximately 30,000 LF of 36-inch transmission sewer force mains and over 43,000 LF 36-inch of transmission water mains. Other relevant project experience comprises the HDPE raw water pipelines to the new Hialeah RO Treatment Plant (15,000 LF), Century Prestige II’s 36-inch water main extension, the 60-inch ECP water main extension for the Coconut Grove Metro Rail Station, the 48-inch force main along SW 48th Street, and the 36-inch force main along SW 32nd Street. All in all, SRS engineers have designed over 77,000 LF of 36-inch or larger water and sewer pipelines of various types such as DIP, PVC, HDPE, and ECP within Miami-Dade County in the past 10 years. This experience is extremely valuable so we can hit the ground running. DESIGN EXPERIENCE WITH SITE/LAND DEVELOPMENT SRS is one of the top South Florida land development design firms. We have been the engineers on over 47 large land development projects within Miami-Dade, Broward, and St. Lucie Counties. Our firm provides full land development services from initial due diligence and feasibility studies to complete design of all site improvements containing roadways, drainage systems, stormwater management, lakes, canal, pump station, cut/fill studies, and water/sewer systems, plus all associated permitting. Our recent projects involve the following: Kendall Commons - SRS prepared all civil engineering design plans and specifications for the construction of an approximately 160-acre traditional neighborhood district development comprised of 1,256 residential units, containing townhouses, single family homes, live/work units, lofts, and flats, as well as over 132,000 sq. ft. of commercial retail, 15-acre lake, and a 9- acre school. SRS services involved the civil design of a regional sewer pump station (wet well/dry well) in addition to on-site roadway, paving and grading, drainage and storm water management systems, water/sewer systems, design of off-site water/sewer systems and roadway improvements to SW 167th Avenue and Kendall Drive. Other services included contracting and coordinating all topographical surveys and geotechnical investigations; all environmental studies such as wetland mitigation reports and preparation of ERP permit. Permitting was of all applicable regulatory agencies: FDOT, SFWMD, COE, DERM, MDWASD, MDPWD, FIRE, and Health Dept. Century Prestige – a ±96-acre development north of Miami Lakes and south of the Broward line off I-75.
