Leading the team is President and Founder with over 31 <br />years of civil engineering experience in planning, design and management, <br />Registered Civil Engineering Licenses in both California and Florida, in addition to <br />numerous certifications, awards and honors. It's his passion for excellent service and <br />solutions that set a solid foundation for SRS. Mr. Serralta is actively involved in every <br />project. Equipped with an enthusiastic and talented team, coupled with strategic <br />partnerships from some of the industry's most capable firms- making SRS <br />exceptional from inception to finish. <br />Key Projects <br />City of Sweetwater- Various Locations Project Manager/Design Engineer to the <br />City of Sweetwater on several roadway and drainage improvement projects. The <br />work consisted of reviewing the City engineer’s design calculations and plans, <br />inspecting construction, and cost analysis of alternatives. Recommendations were <br />made to correct the existing design and alleviate persistent drainage problems. <br />Among the projects reviewed were SW 4th Street, SW 6th Street, SW 7th Street, and <br />SW 114th Avenue. <br />City of Miami- Arch Creek Drainage Improvement Project Manager for design of <br />the Arch Creek Drainage Improvement Project, involving the drainage <br />improvements over an area of 120 acres, including pump station with backup <br />generator, wetland retention pond, drainage structures, canal outlet, and pressure <br />drainage well system. <br />City of Miami- Biscayne Gardens Drainage Improvement Project Manager for <br />design of the Biscayne Gardens Drainage Improvement Projects, Phase I, II, and <br />III, involving the drainage improvements over an area of 467 acres including the <br />construction of 14,500 linear feet of 15" to 66" drainage mainline pipe, 15,500 linear <br />feet of exfiltration trenches, two canal outlets, and 15,000 gpm pump station with <br />backup generator. <br />City of Hialeah – NW 142nd Street Principal-In-Charge of the civil engineering <br />design and preparation of Water and Sewer Improvements for the City of Hialeah <br />that consisted of construction documents for the construction of 1,470 LF of an 8- <br />inch force main, 2,702 LF of an 8-inch gravity sanitary sewer, 5,325 LF of a 16-inch <br />water main and pump station number 1. The new force main constructed on NW <br />142nd Street from NW 105th Avenue to NW 102nd Avenue to a connection point with <br />the existing MDWASD force main located at NW 102nd Avenue, to serve the newly <br />annexed area to the City of Hialeah. This work included contracting and coordinating <br />all work with specialty firms (surveyors, Electrical and Geotechnical Engineers); and <br />the preparation and submittal design calculations, applications and plans for “dry- <br />run” and “final” review by local regulatory agencies.
