The project consists of the design, permitting and construction administration effort for the replacement <br />and upsizing of just under 1,600 LF of existing gravity sewer (8”/10” VCP per City of Coral Gables As-builts to 12”) in an existing <br />commercial district in the City of Coral Gables in support of a development located on the corner of Altara Avenue and LeJeune <br />Road by the Astor Companies. CMA was responsible for providing Land Surveying and Geotechnical Engineering, Subsurface <br />Utility Engineering Services; Utility Coordination and Preliminary Design; Final Engineering; Government Permitting; and <br />Construction Observation and Administration Assistance. CMA is the civil engineer and landscape architect of record for the Skilled Nursing Facility, located in Doral, <br />Florida. The proposed development is situated on a 2.9-acre parcel and consists of a 240-bed, six-story skilled nursing facility, a <br />5-story medical office building, and a multi-level parking garage. CMA is designing and permitting the water, sewer, and drainage <br />associated with the project, which includes offsite roadway and utility improvements, including a 12” water main extension, 8” <br />gravity sanitary sewer main extension, roadway reconstruction, and a proposed roundabout. The scope of work included paving, grading, drainage, signage and pavement <br />markings. The CMA team provided survey and geotechnical <br />exploration; survey/as-built drawing review from local utilities; civil engineering regarding the site and initial site plan; and design <br />and plan preparation including the demolition, earthwork, paving, grading, drainage, water, signing and marking, details, <br />specifications and stormwater pollution prevention plans.
