Some of the improvements include the select demolition, the removal and replacement of the existing canopy fabric to install a removable turnbuckle canopy system; the removal of the existing paver system for a new permeable paver system. <br />2017-2019 2018-2019 <br />BEA Architects was contracted by the City of Miami Beach to design a fully enclosed, air conditioned modern facility with new interior finishes, new lighting, impact resistant windows, new reception area, offices, conference room, flexible casual seating, enhanced security and a contemporary retail environment. The project was completed within the City’s budget and time schedule, without disruption to the Tennis Center’s ongoing operations. <br />Ongoing <br />TThhee NNoorrtthh SShhoorree TTeennnniiss CCeenntteerr IImmpprroovveemmeennttss,, MMiiaammii BBeeaacchh,, FFLL <br />2014 <br />Complete architectural and engineering services for a new, two-story dock-master building offering offices, a multipurpose room, restrooms, and a laundry facility for boaters renting slips in the marina. The 3,000-SF structure boasting Art Deco Revival style is located on a small key between Miami’s mainland and Miami Beach. Site improvements include replacing light poles and all new landscaping. <br />2014 <br />2009 2012 <br />Project Manager responsible for the 1961 Norman Giller Bandshell's restoration. Restoration and facility upgrades were required for this outdoor performance venue's historic Miami-Modern Architecture to handle more varied performances. the upgrade included a state of the art stage lighting system and ADA retrofit. <br />Ongoing <br />BEA was once again selected to renovate Port Canaveral’s Disney Cruise Terminal 8 and Cruise Terminal 10 and will include the design of three new additions, adding approximately 8,164 SF to the existing building.
