The City envisioned the creation of a mixed-use residential and commercial facility that brings together new market-rate housing, retail, restaurants, and entertainment venues. The design features the creative use of "shipping containers" to realize quick, cost-efficient design solutions in a dynamic urban setting.
The City's intent was to activate the district without the delays/expenses associated with conventional brick and mortar construction. Therefore, the "shipping container" type of construction was emphasized and chosen by the City due to its speed in fabrication and construction, as well as its clean and modern design aesthetic.”
(954) 457-3070
