<br />Ms. Ferradaz has over 20 years of experience in the fields of civil engineering and
<br />construction management for municipal and industrial infrastructure projects. Most
<br />recently, she has provided project controls on various civil/municipal construction projects.
<br />She has been responsible for critical path scheduling, time impact/delay analysis,
<br />budgeting and forecasting costs/schedules, reviewing change orders and negotiations,
<br />cost estimating, work quality/progress monitoring, and claims mitigation. Additionally, her
<br />past project design experience has included wastewater treatment plants, water facilities,
<br />pumping stations, transit, and utility infrastructures.
<br /> Relevant Experience Pump Station Improvement Program (PSIP), Miami-Dade Water & Sewer
<br />Department, FL. Under the terms of a consent decree, Miami-Dade is rehabilitating its
<br />wastewater treatment plants and sewer collection and transmission system. Nova was
<br />selected to administer and manage the implementation of the PSIP to ensure timely repair
<br />of upgrades. Ms. Ferradaz served as the initial Program Controls Lead involved in the
<br />sequencing and scheduling an effective implementation of the design and construction
<br />components of the program.
<br /> Design/Build Miami Dade College Hialeah Garage, Miami Dade College District
<br />Board of Trustees of, FL. The project consisted of the design/build of a new parking
<br />garage facility on Miami Dade College Hialeah Campus. Nova’s tasks included site and
<br />civil design for the facility, as-built information for existing utilities, designing connections
<br />to portable water and sanitary sewer service, as well as drainage, paving and grading
<br />design for the parking garage and associated facilities. As Assistant Project Manager, Ms.
<br />Ferradaz was responsible for engineering design, project management, and permitting.
<br /> C-44 System Discharge & Stormwater Treatment Areas, South Florida Water
<br />Management District, FL. The C-44 Reservoir/STA project is a component of the Indian
<br />River Lagoon-South (IRL-South) Project under the Comprehensive Everglades
<br />Restoration Plan. The C-44 project consists of a reservoir and stormwater treatment areas
<br />(STAs) located on an approximately 12,000 acre site. Ms. Ferradaz was Project Controls.
<br />
<br />60-Inch Force Main Installation under Norris Cut Channel, Miami-Dade Water &
<br />Sewer Department, FL. This project involves the replacement of a 54-inch force main
<br />with a 60-inch force main, in preparation of the Federal Navigational Dredging Project; the
<br />force main was successfully installed via a 72-inch diameter micro-tunnel.
<br />Government Cut Channel Utility Relocation Projects, Miami-Dade Water & Sewer
<br />Department, FL. This Design/Build project involved two pipeline relocations, a 54-inch
<br />wastewater force main installed under Government Cut channel via micro-tunnel
<br />trenchless technology, and a 20-inch water main underneath Fisherman’s Channel. As
<br />part of the Construction Management/Inspection Team, Ms. Ferradaz was responsible for
<br />scheduling, cost estimating, contract compliance review, and
<br />development/implementation of the document control plan for the construction team.
