<br />STANDARD FORM 330 (REV. 8/2016) PAGE 4 <br /> <br /> <br /> Bentley Bay Marina Environmental Permitting, <br />Miami Beach, FL <br />PROFESSIONAL <br />SERVICES CONSTRUCTION (If applicable) <br />Ongoing 2016 <br /> (3) BRIEF DESCRIPTION (Brief scope size, cost, etc.) AND SPECIFIC ROLE Check if project performed with current firm <br />Project Manager. Managed the environmental permitting which involved extensive project team and agency coordination <br />relative to sovereign submerged lands use, FDOT and FPL right-of-ways, consistency with the Miami-Dade County <br />Manatee Protection Plan, and avoidance and minimization of impacts to marine resources. Performed 3 marine resource <br />assessments to document the location, species and density of marine resources of significance (e.g., seagrasses and <br />corals) but also following the NMFS protocol for surveying Johnson’s Seagrass within Johnson’s Seagrass Critical Habitat <br />and Acropora spp. within the Acropora spp. range. Conducted extensive sovereign submerged lands research relative to <br />historical mooring and the Butler Act Disclaimer to secure sovereign submerged lands authoriz ation. Through research of <br />submerged lands ownership and historical use at the Project site, as well as coordination with the regulatory agencies, <br />Gina secured environmental permits from the USACE, FDEP and DERM for the new 16 slip marina, open to the public. In <br />addition to the typical regulatory approvals, an FDEP Sovereign Submerged Lands lease and DERM Marina Operating <br />Permit (MOP) were also secured. At Cummins Cederberg, Gina assisted with permit compliance efforts and documentation <br />to ensure the Project was constructed as authorized by the regulatory agencies. <br />e. Managed the environmental permitting which involved extensive agency coordination relative to <br />sovereign submerged lands use, federal channel setback, and consistency with the Miami-Dade County Manatee <br />Protection Plan. Conducted extensive sovereign submerged lands research relative to historical mooring to secure <br />sovereign submerged lands authorization. Through research of submerged lands ownership and historical use at the <br />Project site, as well as coordination with the regulatory agencies, Gina secured environmental permits from the USACE, <br />FDEP and DERM for the new 2 slip docking facility. In addition to the typical regulatory approvals, an FDEP Sovereign <br />Submerged Lands lease was secured. <br />
