<br />Christie is a senior project manager and marine biologist with over 17 years of experience in the fields of environmental monitoring,
<br />assessment, planning, reporting, as well as federal, state, and local regulatory permitting, permit compli ance, and closeout. She is well
<br />versed in grant research and funding applications, due diligence/feasibility studies, environmental resou rce surveys including seagrass,
<br />hardbottom/reef and coral monitoring and mapping, mangrove and dune vegetation mapping and monitoring, as well as shorebird
<br />population and nesting surveys, preparation of management plans, contingency mitigation plans, and r esource monitoring plans.

<br />Senior Marine Scientist. Conducted a seagrass/hardbottom mapping and coral survey/report in support of the upcoming
<br />sand tightening project. The Main Beach and Club Beach termi nal groins along the eastern portion of Fisher Island are
<br />permeable, allowing sand to escape the beach and is affecting beach performance and causing shoaling in the adjacent
<br />marina. Held pre-application meetings, submitted permit applications and are currently processing them through Miami-
<br />Dade County DERM, the FDEP, and the Corps to authorize construction activities. Additionally, had discussions with FWC
<br />regarding securing a Special Activity License for relocating corals and have negotiated no relocatio n mitigation to be
<br />necessary.

<br />Senior Marine Scientist responsible for the conducting two marine resource surveys of the submerged lands within and
<br />surrounding the TOPB public marina and proposed dredge areas, coordinated and participated in pre -application
<br />meetings with the Corps, FDEP and Palm Beach County. Acquired the nece ssary state and federal permits to conduct
<br />geotechnical surveys, as well as, an FDEP ERP, FDEP Sovereign Submerged Lands Lease modification, a Public
<br />Easement, Corps Individual Permit authorizing the demolition of existing docks and over-water buildings, construction of
<br />four floating docks with 2 new over-water buildings, and dredging of 78,605 cy of material between -10.4 to -17.1 ft. Also
<br />secured approval from Palm Beach County to use the Mid-Depth Artificial Reef and Tarpon Cove Restoration area as
<br />disposal sites for the old docks and dredged material in support of the Town Docks Project located at 500 Australian
<br />Avenue in Palm Beach.
