Currently, the existing canals <br />have a mix of different types of seawall systems and revetment systems in <br />different stages of disrepair. The City has undertaken improvements in <br />several areas. The purpose of this project is to repair and stabilize the <br />canal banks based on the recommendations of the preliminary study and <br />evaluation. <br />The scope of the work includes the design of the improvements, preparing <br />plans, typical sections, cross sections, special details, technical <br />specifications and opinion of probable costs. R.J. Behar & Company, Inc. <br />(RJ Behar) was also in charge of preparing the required permit <br />applications with Broward County and the United States Army Corp of <br />Engineers and following up to obtain the permits. <br />Section F - Page | 9
