CITY OF ISLES BEACH | 15 DPROJECT APPROACH METHODOLOGY IA’s project process is well-choreographed, with the partic- ipation of each team member carefully scripted to ensure seamless integration and implementation of technical/ design expertise. Nothing is lost in translation. However, the process also allows for ‘improvisation’ – or a rapid response that ensures accuracy of deliverables without sacrificing quality and efficiency. The planning, design and implementation of a successful design solution strives to capture the client's essence and not the architect’s stamp. Our approach encourages an open dialog with clients that, at the outset of a project, helps define objectives and reveal opportunities. During the first phase of the project, the client's feedback will help us add appropriate details and stay true to the objectives as we refine the creative solution. Our approach to your contract is intended to enhance quality control, create effective design concepts, seam- lessly coordinate the project phases, and facilitate a clear line of communication between IA and the City’s Team. To achieve these goals we have established a management process and an integrated team approach with profession- als dedicated to the contract for its duration. IA’s integrated approach is not a hand-off from due dili- gence to full service architecture. When a hand-off occurs, the information critical to the successful implementation of the design strategy is lost. At IA, the management and implementation of the project is executed by the same team that performs the due diligence. These personnel comprise the core team. Marlene Liriano, Principal-in-Charge, will be responsible for IA’s contractual obligation, team and resource management. She will also perform the role of project director, “on a macro level," a role she has filled on many projects in the past. She will coordinate with the City’s Team and IA to ensure appropriate levels of staff- ing and resources, as well as to ensure consistency and timeliness. For an outstanding response to the client's requirements, IA will: • Rapidly respond to the client's requests and adhere to the project schedule. • Provide whatever resources the client requires, as they are required. • Maintain high standards of quality despite demand- ing dead-lines and frequently changing conditions. • Act as the client's advocate in matters of budget.
