CITY OF ISLES BEACH | 21
DPROJECT APPROACH
Finally, field inspections at weekly—or more frequent—
intervals throughout the construction process are essential
to ensure a high quality product. IA utilizes the core project
team's architect and designer in the field to ensure proper
translation of documents. Additionally, IA works closely
with third party construction management professionals to
monitor work in the field and report directly to the design
team regarding quality control issues.
A COORDINATED PROJECT DELIVERY TEAM
(OWNER, PROJECT MANAGER, ARCHITECT, AND
GENERAL CONTRACTOR/CM)
The most successful projects and design solutions result
from a close working relationship with our clients. IA con-
siders each project unique in its requirements. It is our
responsibility to reflect that uniqueness in our strategy,
planning, and design solutions.
To accomplish this successfully, our project team must
become intimately familiar with the City’s organization. To
be effective, this approach requires a very close working
relationship as well as consistent communication through-
out the design process. The City, and each project team
member, is a critical component of the design team.
We gather and analyze project requirements in the context
of objectives and priorities established by the City. It is both
our challenge and responsibility to effectively meet these
requirements by developing a solution within the parame-
ters of a specific building, budget, schedule, and culture.
Effective project management, commitment to quality
control, and level of responsiveness underscores our total
dedication to client satisfaction. Over 75% of our work
comes from repeat clients, which we believe is reflective of
our success in maintaining client satisfaction.
PROCESS OF CHECKS AND BALANCES
IA’s approach to integration of consultant and partner
scope is accomplished through well-prepared, coordi-
nated documents which include color annotated exhibits
addressing all pertinent issues and sensitivities commu-
nicated by the governing agencies. IA’s documentation
process is flexible to accommodate the specific reporting
requirements of an individual client, as well as the integra-
tion of consultant requirements.
When managing templates and other documentation,
instant access to critical information through a web-based
platform enable managers and team members to moni-
tor progress and quickly identify potential problems and
discrepancies. In addition, activity logs provide a com-
plete listing of all site and project activity, including who
accessed what and when.
