Team mem- bers can assign action items and tasks to other individuals or groups. Status is fully tracked in the centralized form log. Our process and systems provide comprehensive con- trol over workflow rules, roles, and templates. Enhanced threaded discussion capabilities make it easy to maintain the confidentiality of internal communications with design or construction teams by setting discussion threads as open only to specific members. Forms are eas- ily archived on our separate archive server for storage. All project documents, including design drawings, RFIs, sub- mittals, and meeting minutes are centralized for easy team access at any time. QUALITY ASSURANCE PROCESS IA has an advantage with our unique one-firm approach which provides a network of support and standards align- ment with each peer group discipline (strategy, design, technical, and project management) across the firm. This broad band of experience is dynamic and consistently contributes to process improvements and real time shar- ing of best practice details in both methods and materials knowledge. Regular project quality control reviews are conducted by the Account Project Manager with the involvement of the Account Technical Director and Code Oversight and other various members of the core team. All projects—regard- less of size, scope, schedule, or fee—are subject to quality control reviews performed at important project milestones. We are committed to providing a quality product to ensure that each of our clients receives the best possible design and documentation, and enable the project to be executed by the construction team on schedule and within budget. The Account Technical Director and Code Oversight will ensure integration of each project’s goals and design intent with the technical requirements of the jurisdic- tion and facilities, including technical management for national standards for contract documents, specifications, bidding, negotiation, and construction administration. They will conduct periodic document checks and will have primary responsibility for comprehensive oversight of code compliance. IA also maintains a Technical Advancement Committee composed of senior technical professionals from each office. This group has developed a comprehensive man- ual which details standards for project documentation and design parameters to ensure all of our work is con- sistent, reflects the highest caliber design, meets all local and national codes, is documented clearly, and incorpo- rates the stated requirements of the City. The committee is involved on a continuing basis in updating these standards and procedures, as well as supervising their enforcement.
