Our professionals are deeply client- <br />focused, always willing to resolve complex issues, and yet <br />have fun on projects as well as amongst each other. We <br />strive to bring joy to clients through our work. <br />IA celebrates those who consistently strive to ensure a <br />dynamic workplace. IA rewards contributions to design <br />and quality improvement across our firm, including <br />through a firmwide design committee and IAct awards. <br />IA’s design committee’s mission is to lead growth through <br />design, develop design thinking inclusive of all skill lev- <br />els, share innovations and collective knowledge, and <br />challenge the status quo. The committee organizes an <br />annual, internal Design Awards program that promotes <br />innovation through competition, bi-annual panel dis- <br />cussion in each office to shift the conversation and com- <br />pile firmwide research, and an annual Design Forum and <br />process retooling to continuously evolve our processes. Its <br />holistic, innovative approach ensures IA builds better pro- <br />cesses and thought leadership for delivering design. IA’s <br />IAct Committee organizes an annual excellence awards <br />program where staff nominate their peers for leadership, <br />service, and innovation, as well as recognizing the “ris- <br />ing stars.” As the importance of establishing positive work- <br />place culture permeates among our clients, IA proudly rec- <br />ognizes our staff’s outstanding work and service. <br />IA’s philanthropic committee, IAReach, to further IA’s <br />commitment to people, culture, and innovation. We link <br />corporate citizenship with community needs through pri- <br />vate initiatives for public good. We invest our resources <br />back into the communities in which our office(s) thrives. To <br />do this, we unite all IA offices through this philanthropic <br />effort. <br />We cross-train our professionals so that each team mem- <br />ber understands how each of the elements of the built envi- <br />ronment coalesces to create a unified whole. This train- <br />ing improves their skills in managing clients, projects and <br />empowers them to apply new technologies to solve prob- <br />lems. Pinnacle Series is a productivity platform that allows <br />all IA staff members to have real-time training for work- <br />flows, technology tools, and content searches. It enables <br />employees to access, learn, and improve processes, pro- <br />duction, and information for each project in the most effi- <br />cient way. An IAedu committee offers monthly lunch-and- <br />learns for industry topics, and IA contributes to our staff’s <br />continuing education, and IIDA, AIA, LEED, and WELL <br />accreditations. Our IAmp committee pares firm leaders <br />with evolving staff for mentorship opportunities. <br />Innovation is a cornerstone of IA's design philosophy. Our <br />professionals are thinkers, evaluators, debaters, research- <br />ers, etc. Their creative solutions to solving problems within <br />budget and schedule parameters have impressed clients <br />time and again. A building needs to do more than house <br />an organization. It needs to support, grow, nurture, and <br />empower. To achieve such demanding goals, IA creates <br />architectural solutions that reduce occupancy costs, pro- <br />vide maximum flexibility and support worker productivity. <br />It is a future-forward architectural philosophy that extends <br />beyond the fixed structure to respond to evolving mar- <br />ket conditions, changing organizational missions, culture <br />mergers and unforeseen workforce needs. It incorporates <br />adaptability, creativity, and responsiveness to enhance <br />performance.
