CONTRACTOR shall make no claim for losses suffered due to <br />any necessary removals or repairs of such defects. <br />1.04 CONTRACTOR'S CLOSEOUT SUBMITTALS <br />A. Upon receipt of notice of acceptability from ENGINEER, CONTRACTOR shall assemble, <br />for submittal along with the Final Application for Payment, evidence of compliance with <br />requirements of governing authorities and Contract Documents, as follows: <br />1. Project Record Documents including As-built Drawings and Specifications, <br />Addenda, Construction Schedule, Change Orders and other modifications of the <br />Contract, Approved Shop Drawings, Product Data and Samples, and Field Test <br />records. <br />2. Operating and Maintenance Instructions: Submit instructions and/or manuals for <br />operating equipment and systems as prepared in accordance with the requirements <br />of the applicable equipment specifications sections. <br />3. Warranties and Bonds: As applicable and in accordance with the requirements of <br />the individual sections of the specifications. <br />4. Evidence of payment to subcontractors, testing laboratories, material men and <br />equipment suppliers and releases of liens therefrom. <br />B. During the construction process, CONTRACTOR shall maintain records of all deviations <br />from the Plans and Specifications and prepare therefrom Record Drawings showing <br />correctly and accurately all changes and deviations made during construction to reflect the <br />Work as it was actually constructed. The record drawings shall identify all underground <br />piping and ductwork with elevations and dimensions and locations of valves, pull boxes, <br />etc., changes in location, horizontal and vertical locations of underground utilities and <br />appurtenances, referenced to permanent surface improvements, actual installed pipe <br />material, class, etc. CONTRACTOR shall prepare these drawings to conform to <br />recognized standards of drafting, to be neat, legible and on standard size project plan <br />sheets. As a prerequisite for monthly progress payments, CONTRACTOR shall submit, <br />simultaneously with the progress payment request, a copy of the currently updated Record <br />Drawings for review by the ENGINEER. Final payment to the CONTRACTOR will not be <br />made until the completed set of record drawings, signed and sealed by a professional <br />engineer or land surveyor registered in the State of Florida and approved by the <br />ENGINEER as to form and accuracy has been delivered to the CITY. <br />1.05 FINAL ADJUSTMENTS OF ACCOUNTS <br />A. CONTRACTOR shall submit a final statement of accounting along with the Final <br />Application for Payment to ENGINEER, reflecting all adjustments to Contract Sum and the <br />ENGINEER, upon verifying the claim, will submit the approved document to CITY for <br />payment. <br /> <br />PART 2 - PRODUCTS (Not Used) <br /> <br />PART 3 - EXECUTION (Not Used) <br /> <br />- END OF SECTION -
