CTA Project No. 19-0035-001-01 16000-4 Golden Shores Street Lighting <br />October 12, 2020 SIB Bid No. 20-09-01 <br />1.07 MAINTENANCE AND OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS <br />A. At time of completion, allot a period of not less than eight hours for instruction of system <br />operating and maintenance personnel in the use of systems. Instruct all personnel at one <br />time. Make necessary arrangements with manufacturer's representative. Provide product <br />literature and application guides for user's reference. Pay costs for above services. <br />1.08 DRAWINGS <br />A. The Drawings are not intended to show exact locations of conduit runs or equipment. <br />B. Placement of each light pole to be coordinated and verified with City prior to <br />commencement of installation. The Contractor shall verify exact locations of lighting poles <br />prior to installation. <br />C. The locations of equipment, fixtures, and similar devices shown on the Drawings are <br />approximate only. Exact locations shall be as approved by the Engineer during <br />construction. The Contractor shall obtain in the field all information relevant to the placing <br />of electrical work and in case of any interference with any other work, proceed as directed <br />by the Engineer and furnish all labor and materials necessary to complete the work in an <br />approved manner. <br />PART 2 - PRODUCTS <br />2.01 SHOP DRAWINGS AND SUBMITTALS: <br />A. As specified elsewhere in the Contract Documents shop drawings and submittals shall be <br />forwarded to the Engineer for approval for all materials, apparatus, and other items required <br />to perform the Work. <br />B. Shop Drawings shall be submitted for the following equipment: (10 sets of each) <br /> 1. Complete Roadway Lighting Systems <br /> 2. Service Point UL Approved Cabinet Enclosed Circuit Breakers <br /> 3. Panelboards <br /> 4. Lighting Fixtures, Lamps, Poles and Pole Bases (with Signed & Sealed Windload <br />calculations) <br /> 5. Lighting Contactors <br /> 6. Disconnect Switches <br /> 7. Surge Protective Devices (SPD) <br /> 8. Enclosures <br /> 9. Pull Boxes, Test Wells, Junction Boxes and Wireways <br /> 10. Ground Rods and Ground Accessories. <br /> 11. Photocells <br /> 12. Meter Cans <br /> 13. Foundations <br /> 14. Wire and Cable <br /> 15. Conduit
