<br />These utilities include overhead joint use electric, underground electric, water, gas, sanitary, underground <br />telephone, and fiber optic facilities. County and several local agencies acknowledged the following <br />facilities: Sunny Isles Beach; Atlantic Broadband; Miami-Dade County Public Works, Traffic and Water & <br />Sewer Departments; Crown Castle Fiber; Hotwire Communications; MCI; North Miami Beach <br />Water/Jacobs; Crown Castle NG; TECO Peoples Gas South Florida; AT&T/Distribution; and FPL <br />Transmission. <br />F.R. Aleman will perform the following activities to achieve timely utility clearance certifications: <br />• Identify and involve all utility agency owners (UAOs) within the project limits early in the design <br />process <br />• Send contact letters <br />• Retrieve utility facility information <br />• Subsurface utility engineering (SUE) efforts with vertical and horizontal locate requests <br />• Perform and coordinate constructability reviews <br />• Identify conflicts with existing utility facilities and the proposed improvements <br />• Schedule a kickoff meeting <br />• Schedule and chair utility design meetings and discuss potential utility conflicts with UAOs and <br />design disciplines <br />• Perform field reviews <br />• Assist with any Utility Work by Highway Contractor Agreements requests <br />• Acquire Utility Work Schedules or No Conflict/No Facilities responses from all UAOs <br />• Prepare Utilities Certification Package <br />
