Landscape architecture is a <br />significant component of the bridge design and will be designed according with the following <br />principles. <br />Low profile landscaping vegetation <br />Low -profile landscaping plants can be used along the bridge deck to provide foliar <br />and floral interest without the need for regular pruning to control their height. They <br />will be used as accent plants, high groundcovers to decorate the bridge's hedges. <br />Deciduous shrubs, evergreen shrubs, and flowering perennials can be integrated for = _ <br />year-round color and texture in landscaped areas throughout the bridge extension. <br />Architects and landscapers recommend the design of low -profile vegetation and - <br />avoid the use of high-rise vegetation like trees thus minimizing any hazard during the <br />monsoon season and in case of extreme weather conditions. Low vegetation is an <br />easy maintenance landscaping solution.
