Response to Invitation to Bid <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach <br />Motor Coach Transportation <br />Invitation to Bid No. 21-03-02 <br /> <br />12 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />5.4 Charter Training – Drivers and Other Personnel <br />In addition to our extensive Driver training and Safety Program, charter drivers receive <br />additional training. Academy charter drivers are instructed in customer service and how to <br />deal with problems and challenges they may encounter over the road. <br />Our charter sales representatives all receive two weeks of training before they begin working <br />with customers. Additionally, Academy arranges seminars with outside schools and <br />professionals and our sales representatives and other employees attend seminars in <br />customer service. <br />Only experienced sales representatives and those that demonstrate str ong customer service <br />skills are assigned to deal with professional sports teams. <br />All charter work will be given V.I.P. treatment. As such, a V.I.P. listing is printed 24 hours in <br />advance of the charter and circulated to the President, Vice President, Sales Manager and <br />Terminal Manager. The V.I.P. list is reviewed for accuracy and if in the event there appears <br />to be any discrepancy this information is immediately addressed with the sales <br />representative who booked the charter. <br />5.5 Equal Opportunity Employment Policy <br />Academy is and has been an equal opportunity employer.
