Response to Invitation to Bid <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach <br />Motor Coach Transportation <br />Invitation to Bid No. 21-03-02 <br /> <br />16 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Annual Incentive for Drivers Earning the Award in Four Consecutive Quarters for the Year: <br />All drivers who earned the award for all four quarters are invited to the annual Frank A. <br />Tedesco Driver Recognition Awards Breakfast. <br />Special Recognition for Five, Ten, Fifteen and 20 Year Award Winners: <br />Five Year Award Winners: <br />All full-time drivers who have qualified for the award in all <br />four quarters for five years will receive an Academy Ring <br />and a $500 award. Part time drivers will receive an <br />Academy Ring and $250 cash award. <br />Ten Year Award Winners: <br />All full-time drivers who have qualified for the award in all <br />four quarters for ten consecutive years will receive an <br />Academy Ring and $2,000 cash award. Part time drivers <br />will receive an Academy Ring and $1,000 cash award. <br />Fifteen Year Award Winners: <br />All full-time drivers who have qualified for the award in all four quarters for fifteen years will <br />receive a Ring with Two Stones and $5,000 cash award. Part time drivers will receive a Ring <br />with Two Stones and $2,500 cash award. <br />Twenty Year Award Winners: <br />All full-time drivers who have qualified for the award for all four quarters for twenty years will <br />receive a Ring with Four Stones, and $10,000 cash award. <br />Part time drivers will receive a Ring with Four Stones and $5,000 cash award. <br />Overall, Academy maintains one of the best safety programs in the industry. Academy has <br />consistently maintained an outstanding safety record as evidenced by our satisfactory DOT <br />compliance ratings. We operate with a zero driver out-of-service record and equipment out- <br />of-service record rate less than one third the national averages. Academy is also a U.S. <br />Military contractor subject to compliance audits, which are broader in scope than fede ral DOT <br />audits. Each year we continue to achieve the best possible compliance rating. Academy is <br />also only one of a few companies, which have an Excellent Performance Rating, which is <br />Audited and Verified by the International Motor Carrier Audit Commission . (IMCAC) Each <br />driver is certified to operate a particular make and model of equipment. A driver can only <br />operate that model bus until trained and certified in other models.
