<br />City of Sunny Isles Beach | Invitation to Bid No. 21-08-01 19 <br /> <br />example, streets must be watered, new potholes filled and disturbed and adjacent paved <br />streets swept. <br /> <br />E. The Contractor shall employ and pay for the services of an independent testing laboratory to <br />perform quality control services on work performed by the contractor. <br /> <br />F. At a minimum, 50% of the work must be done through the Contractor’s themselves. <br /> <br />G. Field red-lines and reports to be provided on a daily basis to be submitted with pay requisition. <br /> <br /> <br />3.3 WORK PERFORMED BY OTHERS <br /> <br />The City of Sunny Isles Beach or other contractors may perform work on the existing water <br />distribution system or public utilities as part of their maintenance and operations. The Contractor <br />shall conduct its operations so as to cause a minimum of interference with the work of such other <br />contractors and/or public utilities, and shall cooperate fully to provide continuous safe access to <br />their respective portions of the site to perform their respective contracts. <br /> <br />3.4 CONTRACTOR'S USE OF PREMISES <br /> <br />See General Conditions. <br />3.5 WORK SEQUENCE, COORDINATION ACTIVITIES AND SCHEDULED DATES: <br /> <br />A. General: Work under this contract shall be scheduled and performed in such a manner as <br />to result in the least possible disruption to driveway access. The CONTRACTOR will coordinate its <br />work with other adjacent contractors, landowners, residents and City activities, with specific <br />attention to access and staging areas. Construction sequence shall be determined by CONTRACTOR <br />subject to the following needs for continuous access and operation by others. <br />1. The work will be performed in residential/commercial neighborhoods. The CONTRACTOR <br />shall minimize the inconvenience to the residents and property owners, and reasonably <br />maximize the safety of the residents: <br />2. Construction activities shall take place between the hours of 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Deliveries <br />shall be allowed between the hours of 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. <br />3. All open trenches and excavations shall be closed or covered, and be in good driving <br />condition with temporary pavement, at the end of each work day. <br />4. CONTRACTOR cannot proceed with the construction in more than one street at the same <br />time, unless approved otherwise.
