C P Z PROJECT APPROACH & UNDERSTANDING

CPZ ARCHITECTS, INC.
4316 WEST BROWARD BOULEVARD, PLANTATION, FLORIDA 33317
1601 BELVEDERE RD., S-350, WEST PALM BEACH, FL 33406
200 N. EL MAR DRIVE, SUITE 201B, JENSEN BEACH, FLORIDA 34957
(954) 792-8525 AA# 26000685 WWW.CPZARCHITECTS. COM

a Charrette type meeting where we spend a full half day to review their ideas and comments and develop the
details of the master plan and floor plan options and all the specific requirements based on the
programming report. Based on our feedback from meetings, we will make changes and submit the selected
master plan and floor plan schematic drawing to our cost estimator to generate a schematic cost estimate for
the project. As part of the schematic design phase of your project we will review all agency reviews and
permitting that will be required and ADD them to the schedule.

Project Management Plan
Our comprehensive staff provides a wide variety of design and construction experience to assist the City in the
successful completion of this project. You will have the same Senior Project Manager from the start of a
project through the end of construction, also providing the continuity required for a successful project
completion. Our Firm works with our clients to determine the project schedule at the start of the project to
include the Design Phase, Permitting Submittals, and estimated construction phase. We then create an
electronic schedule that can be maintained throughout the project. This schedule is reviewed at the completion
of each phase of the project. If the project falls behind schedule, we determine what is required to bring the
project back on schedule and make the necessary revisions. We have the ability to add additional people to the
project, extend work hours or both if these methods will expedite the project. Based on the scope of work
contained within the RFQ, we cannot assign hours to all the tasks now. However, we can inform you that we
do have the staff available to work on your project immediately and continuously. Other scheduling solutions
may include changing the sequence of activities to maintain the project moving to completion.

On Time and In Budget
Coral Springs Public Safety Complex Miami Gardens Community Center

CPZ Architects was retained by the City of Miami Gardens by the recommendation of the City of Coral
Springs, to take on the completion of the 60,000 SF Community Center, after the original architect was
removed by the city. Project was under construction needing several items to be resolved and redesigned
simultaneously, to avoid construction delays. CPZ Architects timely completion of the project resulted in the
retention of our firm to complete an amphitheater on the Community Center complex.
