This Project is intended to locate this new facility within the physical boundary of Port Everglades on property currently <br />owned by Broward County. Design, permitting, and construction of the Project is intended to take place in phases. The first phase <br />will be the programming phase. The second phase will be the design and preparation of construction documents and permitting <br />phase. The third phase will be the construction of the facility during such a time that construction activities won’t interrupt port <br />operations, including but not limited to, traffic, taxi movement and staging, stores truck staging and movement and other vehicle <br />operation that could potentially impact the port’s ability to service its clients and maritime operations. <br />Consultant shall prepare and provide a programming and recommendations report as a standalone document. This document shall <br />define and outline the facility’s needs as a part of design services and shall be used to determine the size of the facility, number of rooms, <br />spaces, uses and operational adjacencies, employee and port/county vehicle parking, specialized equipment parking and storage, <br />including, but not limited to, listing and compiling all equipment anticipated and needed to operate the facility in an efficient and <br />effective way. The location of the facility will also be reviewed and recommended after evaluation of the various available sites <br />throughout the Port campus. <br />F.
