This building will serve as an EOC during a hurricane event. The entire building will be on a 100% emergency back-up generator to run the building for 72 hours continuous during a state of emergency. <br />The site has been designed to accommodate fire rescue trucks and semi-trucks. A concrete apron will be designed at exterior ends of the Fire truck repair bays. There are also fire truck parking located at NW corner of the site. Parking is provided for visitors and Fire Administration and Fire Academy at East side (Main entrance) of the building, and parking for Fleet and Central Stores are along the west, north and south side of the building and overflow parking. Reconfiguration of handicapped parking at main entrance. A new flagpole area with brick pavers will be added to the building’s main entrance area. The site drainage will be redesigned around the entire site.
