Phase 4 Developing Conceptual Plan We will work with the City to refine the exact parameters of the Project Approach and our experience shows the following process to be successful: By analyzing the current situation and potential alternative options, we will identify key elements that begin to inform possible solutions. PROJECT APPROACH Phase 1 Establishing Vision and Project Goals We are highly experienced in space planning and programming for civic and public safety clients. We will distill your information to create scenarios to help you plan for long-term vitality and growth through design concepts, cost estimates, strategies for implementation, phasing scenarios, a prioritized “wish list” of projects, or other documents as required to address both near-term needs and long-term vision. We have been fortunate to work with a variety of public clients and are experienced in structuring the planning process to build consensus and achieve successful facility solutions. Task 1.1 Visioning Session. The first step for any public project is to listen and educate ourselves about the City of Sunny Isles Beach, your core aspirations and your goals and challenges for the specific project, program and sites. Through a group visioning session, we will answer – What is your priority? • Improving efficiency and effectiveness of the Department • Strengthening management operations, management, and control • Advancing community-focused policies The visioning session will include a discussion on Public Safety operational and facility trends that directly impact the City of Sunny of Sunny Isles Beach and the relevant public safety standards, i.e. Commission for Florida Law Enforcement Accreditation Standards (CFA), Commission for Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA), International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) Police Facility Planning Guidelines, etc. The visioning session will also address the operational and facility trends affecting other departments that might be impacted by the relocation of the Police components.
