<br />Landscape Architect of Record – CGA oversaw coordination of all engineering & environmental efforts associated this 2-mile long linear
<br />multi-use trail project on State-owned lands, as well as was responsible for all planting & hardscape design & public outreach. CGA
<br />designed & permitted an on-grade, ADA-accessible pathway that supports the use of pedestrians & cyclists. The project is a part of
<br />the greater Atlantic Greenway Network & comprises a critical component of the bicycle facilities throughout the City. It connects Indian
<br />Beach Park on the south to the North Beach Recreational Trail at Allison Park with a 2-mile paver walkway, continuing the City’s unique
<br />branding qualities. Conducted one-on-one meetings with over 39 condominium properties to gather support for the project, respond to
<br />resident’s concerns, & address design restrictions set forth in the FAC & balance those against resident’s expectations. CGA successfully
<br />shepherded the project through all State & local agency permitting processes. Cost: $534,000.00. Const. Cost Estimated at $13.2 M

<br />Historical restoration and landscape design to repair the damaged areas of the estate following Hurricane Andrews devastation of
<br />the property, including detailed archeological planting design, habitat restoration and planting design for a new visitors’ facility. Cost:
<br />$28,000.00. Construction cost estimated at $2.8 million.

<br />Landscape Architect of Record, oversaw the programming and design of the project site, conducting the necessary public outreach to
<br />gather Commission approval and coordinating important aesthetic and sustainable improvements with engineering needs of the project.
<br />CGA was responsible for the conceptual design of all material selections and palette, retaining walls, fences, lighting, branding elements,
<br />and planting. Ms. Cook-Weedon provided assistant by overseeing the permitting process, addressed value engineering issues and
<br />provided shop drawing reviews. Cost: $840,000.00 Construction cost estimated at $11.5 million.

<br />Delray Beach Fire Rescue Headquarters Plaza
<br />Delray Beach, Florida
<br />Senior Landscape Architect. Designing and permitting improvements to pedestrian at the SE corner of the Fire Rescues Headquarters
<br />Building for the City of Delray Beach and the CRA. Project includes on the creation of a pedestrian plaza which will feature public art. A
<br />detention area will be resized to accommodate the plaza requiring the creation of retaining and seat wall to replace the lost water quality
<br />volume. Ms. Cook-Weedon provided assistant during the project construction. She addressed shop drawing reviews, RFI’s and provided
<br />frequent site visits to address issues with the contractor. Cost: $18,000 Construction cost estimated at $800,00.

<br />Mills Pond Park: Soccer/Lacrosse Fields
<br />Fort Lauderdale, Florida
<br />Developed a plan to build 3 new synthetic turf soccer and lacrosse fields at Mills Pond Park, including coordinating surveying, civil
<br />engineering, electrical engineering, site planning, landscape architecture, and all of the sub-consultants on the project. The design of the
<br />new fields will include drainage, lighting, and irrigation as well as associated parking, walkways, and landscape improvements. CGA’s
<br />fees: $379,000. Construction cost is estimated at $3.3 million.
