Page 15 <br />3.0 -TRAFFIC DATA COLLECTION <br />To evaluate traffic conditions on the surrounding roadway network, data was gathered from the FDOT <br />traffic count stations within the vicinity of the amendment along the following roadway segment: <br />• SR A1A/Collins Avenue, 300'N of NE 172°d Street <br />Detailed traffic data gathered from the FDOT traffic online system is provided in Appendix B. <br />4.0 - PROGRAMMED ROADWAY IMPROVEMENTS <br />The following roadway improvements were identified from the Miami -Dade Transportation Planning <br />Organization (TPO) Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) and Long Range Transportation Plan <br />(LRTP) as planned or committed projects in the vicinity of the proposed amendment. <br />• Congestion Management along SR AIA from SR 907/SW 63 Street to SR 856/William Lehman <br />Causeway/NW 192 Avenue <br />o Adopt and implement a Complete Streets Policy <br />o Improved Safety of Existing Bicycle and Pedestrian Facilities <br />o Promote Bicycle and Pedestrian Use <br />Roadway improvement data is included in Appendix C. <br />5.0 - AMENDMENT TRAFFIC AND TRIP GENERATION <br />The amendment traffic will be analyzed to determine the impact on the surrounding roadway network based <br />on the calculated development potential. For the purpose of this analysis, only the FAR portion of the <br />Community Facility land use will be analyzed since the goal of the City is to maintain the property as a <br />Community Facility. Therefore, the 5 8,5 80 square feet of non-residential FAR will be used as the proposed <br />maximum development potential. <br />Trip generation will be based on information contained in the Institute of Transportation Engineer's (ITE), <br />Trip Generation Manual, 11th Edition. Land Use Code 712 (Small Office Building) will be used to <br />determine the existing site generated trips for the sales center currently located on this property.
