adequate notice and advise vendor of conditions that would impact stock, <br />such as heavy seasonal park usage and/or before and during scheduled <br />special events. <br />(e) Vendor shall maintain a record of all equipment breakdowns by machine <br />number, location, time, and date of breakdown when discovered or <br />reported, nature of breakdown and time and date, each machine is <br />repaired. This record shall be available to the City upon request. <br />(f) Vendor must supply fresh stock only and shall ensure that all items are <br />regularly rotated. <br />(g) ABSOLUTELY NO EXPIRED PRODUCTS ARE ALLOWED. Providing expired <br />products will result in default of contract and all ensuring liabilities. <br />5.2.8. PRODUCTS: <br />(a) For snacks, the successful Contractor shall provide products that include a <br />variety of snacks including, but not limited to, snack bars, cookies, chips, <br />candy, gum, and other products customarily dispensed through such <br />equipment, subject to the terms and restrictions of this section. For <br />beverages, the successful Contractor shall provide beverages including, <br />but not limited to, a variety of carbonated soft drinks and non -carbonated <br />beverages including, but not limited to, fruit juice drinks or fruit juice - <br />based products, bottled water, tea -based products, pre-packaged coffee <br />products, and sports drinks, subject to the terms and restrictions of this <br />section. This shall include healthy snacks and beverages. <br />(b) Once the City has approved the initial product line offered, the successful <br />Contractor will be allowed to add or delete products with prior written <br />approval from the City, subject to the terms and restrictions of this section. <br />Such consent shall not be unreasonably withheld. The City reserves the <br />right to request that a product, or products, be replaced at any time and <br />for any reason. <br />(c) It is requested but not required that the successful Contractor provide a <br />separate machine at Barkland Dog Park that dispenses dog friendly food <br />items and/or merchandise. The successful Contractor may submit items <br />on their proposed list of sale items to satisfy this demand. These items do <br />not have to meet any of the nutritional guidelines established herein. <br />(d) As part of this RFP, the successful Contractor shall submit a proposed list <br />of items that will be sold in vending machines with each respective item's <br />proposed pricing. Pricing for these items shall be fixed throughout the <br />duration of the awarded contract unless pricing changes are approved by <br />the City. <br />(e) Successful Contractor shall not sell or distribute any glass bottles or <br />containers. <br />(f) Vending machines shall be limited to the sale of prepackaged foods and <br />nonalcoholic beverages. <br />(g) No alcohol products shall be sold, offered or given away by Vendor on City <br />property. <br />(h) The City reserves the right to request changes in products offered, in its <br />best interests.
