Natural Gas Generator <br />• The Gateway Park will have a natural gas generator and not diesel. <br />• The City Manager would like the Gateway Park capable of servicing the City in any <br />future catastrophic events, such as hurricanes or tropical storms, that would leave <br />the City without electricity. <br />• This decision was confirmed at today's meeting by the City Manager. <br />• Gateway Park will have a natural gas generator that will be able to power the entire <br />building in ease of a massive power outage due to storms etc. <br />• Rick will get with Perkins & Will to develop the CO/PO for additional services for <br />design. <br />6. Generator (Size and Location) <br />• The City Manager would like to ensure the location of the generator will not infringe <br />the quality of life to the neighbors north of the generator location. <br />o Sound test may be needed. <br />• The generator must be large enough to power the entire building. <br />• Rick will provide Glen with the vendors he has been in communications with. <br />• Glen will get the specs for cost etc. <br />• Discussions as to the final location of the generator is open, however, the location <br />Page 4 of 8 <br />389 <br />
