FA 0 <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach — Recreation and Parks Master Plan <br />Scope of Work <br />05/05/2022 <br />comprehensive plan standards. Level of service analysis will include acreage and facility <br />level of service results. Based on the standards established with City staff, AECOM will <br />conduct a GIS -based service areas analysis for each type of existing park and/or recreation <br />facility in the City based on current classifications. This task will help identify current City- <br />wide service levels for use in development of future goals and policies for revised level of <br />service standards. Using demographic projections analyzed earlier, AECOM will prepare <br />projected park, facilities and acreage needs for 5, 10 and 15 -year increments based on <br />current level of service standards. <br />2.5 Needs and Priorities Analysis Summary — Based on the tasks outlined above, AECOM <br />will establish recommendations from citizens based on the public survey, stakeholder <br />interviews, and analysis of data. This information, along with the results of the survey and <br />public input in task 2.1, will provide the basis for determining the priority for parks, facilities, <br />and trails development needs of the City. <br />2.6 City Council Presentation — AECOM will conduct an update presentation of findings to City <br />Council. In additional, content from each interim section will be made available online for <br />general public review. This `check-in' presentation will ensure the project team is on firm <br />base before launching the next phase of the project. <br />Part II — Deliverables include: <br />• Stakeholder Interview notes (2.1) <br />• Focus Group Meeting Notes (2.1) <br />• Community Meeting Notes (2.1) <br />• Virtual Open House Engagement Report (2.1) <br />• Statistically Valid Public Survey Summary (2.2) <br />Online Survey Results (2.3) <br />Level of Service Analysis Maps (2.4) <br />Needs and Priorities Analysis Summary and PowerPoint (2.5) <br />Part III — Long -Lange Vision <br />3.1 Visioning Workshop — AECOM will facilitate a two-day Visioning Workshop with City staff, <br />general public, special interest groups, stakeholders, school representative(s), and <br />community officials to develop a long-range vision for the City's Cultural and Community <br />Services system. The City will be responsible for the invitations to the workshop. A <br />preliminary agenda for the workshop includes: <br />• Presentation of the Needs and Priorities Analysis findings <br />• Discussion of alternative "responses" to needs and priorities, including alternative <br />roles for the City as provider, partner and/or facilitator <br />• Development of Goals, Policies and Objectives <br />• Identification of key "sub -systems" for further planning and development, including <br />guiding principles and planning criteria <br />
