AECOM <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach — Recreation and Parks Master Plan <br />A Scope of Work <br />05/05/2022 <br />Optional Services <br />The purpose of the additional services is to prepare a series of illustrative graphics for the parks <br />identified in the City of Sunny Isles Beach Cultural and Community Services Master Plan for <br />potential park improvements. In addition to graphics, budget -level opinions of cost estimates <br />and engagement materials will be provided for each of the parks. Meetings beyond what is <br />included in the scope of work included hereunto will be considered additional services. <br />6.0 Park Master Plan Development <br />6.1 Preliminary Concept Plans — AECOM will prepare a set of up to four (4) preliminary <br />Concept Plans based on an approved program verified by the City during Task 6.1. AECOM <br />will prepare a Concept Plan incorporating the programmatic elements outlined as part of <br />Task 6.1. The City will provide base map information in the form of a GIS file with aerial <br />photo for each park site for use by AECOM in development of the Cultural and Community <br />Services Master Plan graphics within one week of the NTP for this task. In addition, the City <br />will provide any existing AutoCAD plans or surveys, or other previous plans for each park <br />site. AECOM will rely upon any data or plans provided by the City as accurate and <br />complete. AECOM will prepare one (1) digital PDF plan for submittal to the City. AECOM will <br />not provide and interpret any studies about the nature, extent, and types of any <br />contamination or the presence or absence of contamination or hazardous waste on the site. <br />6.2 City Staff Review — City staff will review the preliminary plans in PDF format one (1) time <br />and provide AECOM with one (1) consolidated set of written comments and requested edits. <br />AECOM and City staff will conduct a WebEx conference call to review comments. <br />6.3 Illustrative Graphics Development — Based upon comments from City staff noted from <br />Task 6.3, AECOM will incorporate comments and prepare a series of up to four (4) <br />illustrative plans for various park types as listed in Task 6.2. AECOM will also prepare up to <br />four (4) illustrative perspective and/or bird's-eye graphics of various park types as listed in <br />Task 6.1. AECOM will submit one (1) set of Draft Graphics in PDF format to the City one (1) <br />time for final review. The City will provide written consolidated comments to AECOM one (1) <br />time for incorporation into a final revised set of graphic images. PDF graphics will be <br />prepared at a scale to print for 30x42" display boards, 11 x17" handouts, and as jpeg format <br />for use in presentations and posting online. <br />6.4 Public Engagement Website and Outreach Material Development — Utilizing the <br />Illustrative Graphics Developed in Task 6.4, AECOM will prepare up to six (6) pieces of <br />outreach collateral for City distribution including posters, flyers, brochures, and web content. <br />AECOM will utilize the project website and engagement portal to host an engagement <br />period of one (1) month and collect input on the Illustrative Graphics. <br />
