TEAM COORDINATION
The Kimley-Horn team is highly experienced in projects that demand close coordination among multiple team members- including
Kimley-Horn staff, City staff, and subconsultants. Our clients expect a high level of responsiveness, communication, and quality. These
high standards have been engrained in our staff to adhere to demanding schedules, a strict quality assurance program, and open
lines of communication. We understand that open, clearly defined channels of communication and prompt response to your requests
will be essential to achieve the desired project results.
Our experience has shown that there really is no such thing as “over-communication” between the client and our team. For this
reason, we recommend use of the following communications protocol for all work assignments issued under this contract, which we
have employed successfully on numerous projects:
• A bi-weekly conference call between the planning team (with City participation, as needed) to discuss progress and schedule on
projects.
• A monthly progress report summarizing, at a minimum, the following information:
• Milestone list, with anticipated and actual dates of completion
• Upcoming tasks and associated required preparation
• Anticipated project issues and strategies for solutions
