The concept for the park consists of two adjacent <br />sites with both active and passive recreational amenities Park amenities include the following <br />recreational components, community center building, baseball fields, tennis courts, basketball <br />courts, sand volleyball, soccer fields, playground, multi-use field, walkways, boardwalk, and <br />wetlands. <br />Lloyd Estates Streetscape and Drainage Improvements, Oakland Park, FL — Project <br />analyst for the Kimley-Horn team that provided professional engineering services for the design <br />and construction of the Lloyd Estates Residential and Industrial Area Drainage Project. The <br />project involves phased drainage and water distribution system improvements consisting of <br />the construction of a stormwater collection system with water quality treatment measures and <br />possible upgraded outfalls, as well as replacement of select existing water mains within the <br />project area. The professional services include surveying, stormwater analysis, civil and electrical <br />engineering design, landscaping and irrigation, permitting, coordinating with utility providers <br />for adjustments and or relocations, preparing quantity calculations, and engineer’s estimates of <br />probable costs. <br />Miramar Parkway Streetscape from SW 64th Avenue to SW 68th Avenue, Miramar, <br />FL — Environmental analyst for this FDOT LAP funded project that involves roadway, landscape, <br />irrigation, and lighting improvements on Miramar Parkway. Additional project improvements <br />include bicycle lanes, drainage modifications, landscaping, lighting, hardscaping, driveway apron <br />regrading, sidewalk replacement, ADA improvements at the intersections, and a mid-block <br />pedestrian crossing/emergency signal modification. <br />Vizcaya Park, Miramar, FL — Project analyst. This 20-acre park in Miramar provides both <br />active and passive recreational opportunities. The first phases of the park included a soccer/ <br />multiuse field, two full-size basketball courts, and a 7,600-square-foot community center. The <br />park’s passive features include open picnic areas, a playground, and a jogging/fitness trail along <br />the perimeter of the project site. Phase 3 of the project included the additions of a splash pad, <br />pavilions, a second soccer field, park signage, and overflow parking; Phase 3 was completed <br />in 2016. The community center was the first LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental <br />Design) Certified building in the City, achieving Gold Certification. Kimley-Horn provided master <br />planning, landscape architecture, engineering design, permitting, and construction observation/ <br />administration services. <br />Sugar Sand Park Design, Boca Raton, FL — As environmental analyst, conducted numerous <br />surveys for endangered flora and fauna. Used the information collected during surveying and <br />site assessments to assist the City of Boca Raton in preparing a Preserve Area Management <br />Plan for this 132-acre City park.
