12 | CONTINUING SERVICES FOR LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES | RFQ 22-06-01 <br />DORAL CENTRAL PARK <br />Doral, FL <br />The City of Doral awarded BA the Doral Central Park project in April 2020. The BA Team <br />provided architectural and landscape architectural services to bring the City’s vision for <br />the project to life. The project consists of the design and engineering of 82 acres (of which <br />25 acres are a lake) located at 3000 NW 87th Avenue, in the heart of Doral. Doral Central <br />Park is the largest public open space in the City, it is one of the largest in the South Florida <br />region, and is envisioned to be the recreation and special events hub for the City of Doral. <br />Some of the amenities for this park include an open-air amphitheater, a complete aquatic <br />facility with an olympic pool and water park, softball/baseball diamonds, a boardwalk, a <br />70,000 square foot indoor recreation center, tennis courts, basketball courts, an exercise <br />trail, a skate park, pump track and a waterfront promenade, three children’s playgrounds, <br />environmental conservation interpretive center, fifteen picnic pavilions, two boat launches, <br />exercise stations, jogging trails, bike riding learning path and beach volleyball courts.
