Government Contracts <br />City of Oakland Park Safe Routes to Schools <br />Oakland Park, FL <br />City of Oakland Park Parks & Recreation Master Plan <br />Update Oakland Park, FL <br />City of Oakland Park Parks & Recreation Master Plan <br />Oakland Park, FL <br />Miller Legg was retained to assist the City of Oakland Park in <br />preparing documents required for the Safe Routes to School <br />(SRTS) grant program for the Lloyd Estates Elementary School <br />Sidewalk Improvements project. The Safe Routes to School <br />grant funding is administered by FDOT. Miller Legg conducted <br />public outreach with the local community as part of preparing <br />its walkability assessment. The firm’s report to the City <br />included a concept plan, typical cross-section and walkability <br />memorandum. <br />Start / Finish Date: 11/18 - 01/19 <br />Having prepared the original Recreation and Parks Master Plan <br />for the City of Oakland Park in 2009, Miller Legg was retained by <br />the City in 2015 to update this Plan. The scope of services involved <br />site analyses of each park and community center, a recreational <br />programming needs assessment based upon the current and <br />anticipated City population, a proposed implementation plan <br />with recommendations for recreational improvements including <br />cost estimates and the application of updated census data to <br />a map and exhibits format for comparison with the original <br />Master Plan. <br />Start / Finish Date: 8/17 - 11/18 <br />Miller Legg was retained to assist the City of Oakland Park in <br />preparing documents required for the Safe Routes to School <br />(SRTS) grant program for the Lloyd Estates Elementary School <br />Sidewalk Improvements project.
