<br />Course project which includes the design
<br />of a new golf course clubhouse and
<br />parking lot, golf course remodeling and
<br />accessory buildings within the parcel. The
<br />project also plans to accommodate
<br />approximately 8,800 LF of perimeter
<br />greenway / pathway. The firm is assisting
<br />with the development of the final
<br />programming and conceptual plan,
<br />including utility map, as-builts and existing
<br />site condition research as well as
<br />preparation of schematic design for tree,
<br />plant beds and hardscape locations. Civil
<br />design for the Clubhouse and Parking lot
<br />will include clearing/demolition, geometry,
<br />signage and marking, utility, paving, grading
<br />and drainage plans as well as construction
<br />details. The design will incorporate
<br />Crime Prevention Through Environmental
<br />Design (CPTED) principles. A paving,
<br />grading and drainage plan will also be
<br />provided for the proposed maintenance
<br />barn. Permitting will be coordinated with
<br />the City of Hollywood, Broward County
<br />and South Florida Water Management
<br />District. The scope includes preparation
<br />of a stormwater report for the project.
<br />Miller Legg will assist with construction
<br />phase services including civil construction
<br />administration.

<br />Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport
<br />(FXE) Mitigation Services Parcel
<br />21B - Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport
<br />(FXE) is developing a portion of Parcel
<br />21B, located north of Commercial
<br />Boulevard and west of NW 21st Avenue,
<br />as a parking lot for airport tenant
<br />employees, rental car companies, and long
<br />term customer parking. The parcel is
<br />approximately six acres and is designated
<br />as a Natural Resource Area by Broward
<br />County Environmental Protection and
<br />Growth Management Department
<br />(BCEPGMD). Miller Legg is providing
<br />preparation of a conservation easement
<br />and environmental mitigation services on
<br />the parcel.

<br />Broward County Convention
<br />Center Expansion Owner's
<br />Representative - Miller Legg is part of
<br />The Weitz Company Owners
<br />Representative Team acting on behalf of
<br />Broward County for the expansion of the
<br />Convention Center and new Hotel. The
<br />expansion includes the addition of an 800-
<br />room, 29-story headquarters hotel,
<br />exhibit hall space, retail establishments,
<br />urban open space development and
<br />associated parking structure(s) on a 44-
<br />acre site that lies within the City limits of
<br />Fort Lauderdale, adjacent to Port
<br />Everglades. In the Owners Representative
<br />role, Miller Legg has provided the
<br />following: development of site civil
<br />engineering and traffic elements included
<br />in the design criteria package developer
<br />solicitation, site traffic circulation study,
<br />preliminary project scheduling,
<br />preliminary development and review of
<br />developer agreements, and developer
<br />proposal submission review.
<br />Furthermore, since October 2019, the
<br />firm is performing sitewide civil
<br />construction observation services for this
<br />multi-phased project.
<br />
<br />Broward County Forensic Science
<br />Center (Medical Examiner Office
<br />and Sheriff Office Crime
<br />Laboratory) - Miller Legg provided due
<br />diligence services related to the pre-
<br />design phase of the Broward County
<br />Forensic Science Center which will house
<br />the Broward County Medical Examiner
<br />Office and Broward Sheriff's Office Crime
<br />Laboratory. This combined facility will be
<br />constructed on a 7-acre vacant parcel in
<br />Fort Lauderdale. The due diligence
<br />services included analysis of site
<br />conditions, review of client-provided
<br />information, zoning and land planning
<br />regulations analysis, civil design
<br />recommendations, as well as client
<br />coordination. Miller Legg is now providing
<br />civil engineering services from schematic
<br />design to construction documents as well
<br />as bidding assistance, land planning DRC
<br />site plan submittal, and construction
<br />administration services for this 177,000 SF
<br />$210 million project.

<br />Broward County Sheriff's Office
<br />New Training Center Garage
<br />Design/Build - Miller Legg is part of the
<br />ANF Group Design Build Team
<br />contracted to develop the Broward
<br />County Sheriff's Office (BSO) planned
<br />new Training Center Parking Garage in
<br />Fort Lauderdale. The project consists of
<br />an 80,000 SF 7-story structure, 2 stories
<br />for training and 5 stories for 700+ parking
<br />spaces. Miller Legg's scope of services
<br />includes site surveying, site civil and utility
<br />infrastructure engineering, landscape
<br />architecture and permitting assistance.
<br />Survey services include topographic and
<br />tree surveying as well as underground
<br />utilities designation and mapping.
<br />Landscape architecture services include
<br />landscape planting and irrigation design.
<br />The firm's certified arborists will collect
<br />site data to prepare tree disposition and
<br />mitigation construction documents.
<br />Permitting coordination will take place
<br />with Broward County Environmental
<br />Management Division, Fire Department,
<br />Health Department and with SFWMD.
<br />The firm will be responsible for civil,
<br />landscape and irrigation, construction
<br />observation and administration. This
<br />project is being pursued for LEED Silver
<br />Certification.
<br />
<br />Broward County South New
<br />Regional Courthouse Pre-Design
<br />Phase - Miller Legg is providing pre-
<br />design civil engineering services related to
<br />the development of the new Broward
<br />County South Regional Courthouse in
<br />Hollywood. The firm is responsible for
<br />site civil and landscape architecture
<br />programming, detailed site plan design
<br />evaluation, assistance with project
<br />development schedule including code
<br />compliance due-diligence, agency review
<br />processes and timeline, and approval
<br />requirements for site design completion,
<br />construction cost estimates, and
<br />estimated construction schedule. Site
<br />design evaluation included anticipated
<br />traffic generation and evaluation of traffic
<br />flow patterns. The traffic volume and
<br />flow patterns identified necessary
<br />infrastructure to accommodate including
<br />off-site dedicated right-turn lanes, design
<br />and implementation of a functional round-
<br />about incorporated into the proposed
<br />facility, and off-site lane assignments by
<br />means of striping to accommodate an off-
<br />site left-in. Additional site design
<br />evaluation included preliminary drainage
<br />calculations to determine size
<br />requirements for underground
<br />stormwater storage system. An alternate
<br />site and program was subsequently
<br />selected by the County and in early 2022
<br />Miller Legg performed a program analysis
<br />for the alternate site and pre-design
<br />analysis to include the alternate site traffic
<br />and pedestrian circulation, public
<br />transportation, stormwater design, zoning
<br />and building setbacks evaluation.
