<br />City of Sunny Isles Beach |Request for Proposal No. 22-09-01 31 <br /> <br />Section 4 <br />Evaluation Process <br /> <br />4.1 REVIEW OF PROPOSALS FOR RESPONSIVENESS <br /> <br />The purpose of the firm’s proposal is to demonstrate the qualifications, competence and <br />capacity of the firms seeking to undertake the referenced project herein in conformity <br />with the requirements of this request for proposal. As such, the substance of proposals <br />will carry more weight than their form or manner of presentation. The proposal should <br />demonstrate the qualifications of the firm and of the particular staff to be assigned to this <br />engagement. <br /> <br />Each proposal will be reviewed to determine if the proposal is responsive to the <br />submission requirements outlined in the solicitation. A responsive proposal is one which <br />follows the requirements of this solicitation: that includes all documentation, submitted <br />in the format outlined in this solicitation, of timely submission, and has the appropriate <br />signatures as required on each document. Failure to comply with these requirements may <br />result in the proposal being deemed non-responsive. <br /> <br />The Evaluation Committee shall review and evaluate the proposal(s) received in response <br />to this solicitation. The Evaluation Committee will be responsible for selecting the most <br />qualified Firm to contract with for the services described in this solicitation. The weighted <br />scoring criteria contained below in this solicitation, shall be the basis of selection. <br />4.2 EVALUATION CRITERIA: Proposals will be evaluated on the criteria listed below. <br /> <br />ITEM <br /># EVALUATION CRITERIA <br />MAXIMUM <br />POTENTIAL <br />POINTS <br />1. FIRM QUALIFICATIONS: <br />• Evidence of a positive reputation in the restaurant industry. <br />• Experience in restaurant/bar operations. <br />• Proposers with previous experience operating a restaurant on public property <br />and/or having two or more current successful restaurant operations may <br />receive higher points. <br />• Proposers with previous experience operating a successful restaurant. <br />• Relevant experience and qualifications of key personnel, including key <br />personnel of subcontractors that will be assigned to this project and <br />experience and qualifications of subcontractors. <br />• Include a copy of any and all professional licenses and certifications as <br />required to perform the services described herein and of the professional <br />licenses for each team member. <br />• Respondent must provide the resume(s) of the manager(s) and <br />representative(s) responsible for day-to-day operations and maintenance. <br />20
